Tread Lightly - Integrity Uncertain
I started about 2 weeks ago. I do not recommend Mikhail for any of your needs. His communication was poor and there were never changes despite meeting multiple times to go over edits etc. Mikhail also asked me for money before services were finished, and insinuated that I might not have the money. I am so close to releasing my first book. I hope they do not scam me out of my money. I will not use them for my future manuscripts and projects.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take every client's concerns seriously and would like to clarify a few important details regarding your project. Our agreement began with a 50% upfront payment, with the remaining 50% due upon completion of the agreed services. Throughout the project, our team worked on your editing and publishing requirements and incorporated work toward your manuscript. We understand that the editing process can involve multiple discussions and revisions, and we made efforts to address your concerns. When approximately 95% of the project had been completed, we contacted you regarding the outstanding balance and the access needed to proceed with publishing through Amazon KDP. You expressed that you were not comfortable sharing your account access and preferred to publish the book yourself. We respected your decision and provided you with the edited and formatted manuscript files so you could proceed independently. However, the remaining balance for the work completed was not paid. We believe it is important that prospective clients have a fair understanding of the full circumstances before drawing conclusions about our services. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we respectfully disagree with any implication that we intended to scam you. We remain committed to professional communication, delivering agreed-upon services, and treating our authors fairly. We are open to resolving outstanding concerns through direct communication.
