I first saw TheNoteBags on Facebook and was intrigued. I am a book lover and was searching for an all purpose carry for my books and pens and journal items. The NoteBags offered so many whimsical designs that could be personalized and so I took the chance and ordered the Book Dragon themed one in size Large. Upon arrival, I was pleased with my purchase. The bag is well constructed and has ample room; plus it is lined. The biggest drawback is the wait times. I ordered on September 22 and the bag arrived on Oct. 25...the bag is shipped from overseas and must pass through customs. Although the emails are frequent, the tracking system wasn't very helpful--my item seemed to have been stuck in transit. The initial estimate given for arrival date was Oct. 17 or possibly sooner--my item seemed to have been stuck in transit Oct 15 and was not moving. Around the 20th of October, I emailed customer service with a polite inquiry. There was an apology and I received the bag soon after. I suppose we're all rather spoiled with the quick shipping service received through Amazon...so I am not sure if it's fair to make the comparison. However, because I wasn't familiar with the company...I was getting nervous that I had made a poor choice to have ordered. It made me start to search to see if the company had a good reputation...it is a young company. Their creations are very intriguing...and I am tempted to purchase again...but am holding off because the order and delivery times are so long...they do have super adorable bags with very whimsical quotes...very unique!

I think as far as customer service goes, it was wonderful! A lot of emails regarding my purchase, a lot of encouragement while waiting. The waiting was the reason I didn't give 5 stars. It was 5 weeks and 2 days before my bag arrived. I was anxious to get it so it seemed like it would never get here. I did send an email to Note Bags regarding the wait and they were on top of it immediately. I did order a matching wallet that was not available at the time I bought my bag. I hope it doesn't take as long to get here! The only thing about the email I received thanking me about the "bag" I purchased had me wondering if I made a mistake and ordered a bag again instead of the wallet. So their form letter needs to be changed according to what was actually ordered. I'm glad I did order a bag organizer insert from Amazon because I like to be much more organized than the 2 large slip pockets on the inside and the very large interior where everything would have gotten dumped and hard to find. Plus it will help contain things better because the zipper on top doesn't zip from one edge to the other. There are large gaps in each top side of the bag that stuff can fall out of if it tips over. The interior has a soft velvety feel. When I first opened my bag, it had a bad smell but airing it out overnight, it is less noticeable. So I'm sure in the next day or so it won't be noticable at all. I purchased the faux leather one because of the weight of a real leather one would be heavier and since I purchased the largest bag available, I thought a lighter one will be better for me. It's so beautiful! It feels like real leather! I will probably order another one in the future. For the price and beautiful design and functionality, this bag is an exceptional value!

I ordered a bookmark for my granddaughter. It took rather a long time to arrive but is very pretty and exactly what I ordered. Very pleased indeed.

the quality of the handbag and the workmanships

The size and design of the bag was exactly as I ordered. It took longer to get the bag than I hoped it would. That is the only downside. Otherwise, I love the bag!

These took quite a while to be manufactured and shipped. In saying that they arrived yesterday and the workmanship is great and overall they are beautiful, I love the one I bought for myself and am sure the one I bought as a present will go down a treat , thank you

Bag is very nice. Seems sturdy. My only issue is that the shipping seemed to take longer than was told to me.

Although there was a slowdown in shipping, I contacted customer service, and they took care of the issue promptly. I received my purse, and I was very happy with it. Good product.
