Update (07/27/26): With the assistance of MeatStick’s Help Center, I found that the second stick was hidden in a secret compartment that you wouldn’t notice unless you knew it was there. Please place the second stick in the designated slot or include instructions explaining where it is. Original Review (07/24/26): I ordered the double-stick model, but only one stick was visible when I opened the case, and the second stick slot was empty!

The initial setup with the App and the sticks was a little cumbersome, but did eventually get both that I purchased to sync up properly. That's the only reason for a little less star on my review. Did my first cook, 2 beef tenderloins of varying size, and each was well monitored and end result was great. I bought the stick initially for smoking purposes, but they rocked it on the grill, am definitely looking forward to giving them another cook sometime soon.

The new Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Meatsitck V with Probe works well. My ambient smoker temp was finally accurate and easy to monitor. One software item I don’t like. When using all three of my Meatstick V (only one with probe) App showed the probe temp across all three cooks. It should be just one stick. I liked the ease of placement of the probe. The rack clip works well. Software is a bit buggy as the probe set point would not update when changed unless restarting the cook. Overall I’m pleased with the product.

Replacement for Meatstick X which had multiple connection issues and the original probe was replace only for the replacement to fail. Customer service was very helpful, offered 50% off replacement. Chose Meatstick V. So far so good.
