Hi Rene, I'm so glad to hear you have purchased some of our incredible tutus :) However, I am so sorry to hear they had a slight smell to them. I am hoping this smell has since gone after airing them out. If not, I would recommend cleaning them by hand with a damp sponge (as the tutus contain LED lights and a battery) and then again airing them out.
