A Paying C.
Paid Over $20,000 for VIP Relocation Services. Deeply Disappointed.
We paid Lux Nomads over $20,000 for its VIP relocation program, expecting comprehensive immigration guidance, personalized case management, and relocation support. Nearly a year later, we had no viable visa pathway, lost access to promised resources, and were left fighting for a refund. Before signing, we explicitly explained our family's circumstances, including the need to relocate with a financially dependent adult child. We were assured that Lux Nomads could help us navigate these challenges and that if their attorneys determined there was no viable path forward, we would receive a refund minus services performed. What we received consisted primarily of initial legal and tax consultations, the sort of introductory consultations often available at little or no cost elsewhere, along with periodic communication from a relocation coordinator. Over the following months, we repeatedly requested guidance on alternative visa pathways. We received conflicting information about eligibility for adult dependents, struggled to obtain timely answers, and increasingly found ourselves researching potential solutions rather than receiving the proactive, coordinated support we had paid for. In August 2026, Lux Nomads abruptly closed its private VIP community, removing access to educational materials, peer support, and other resources explicitly included in our agreement. We were given only hours of notice and no equivalent replacement. When we requested a refund for services not rendered, our assigned coordinator acknowledged in writing that the attorneys had been unable to identify a viable pathway and that she believed we qualified for a refund. She also disclosed that other clients had been waiting for refunds or reimbursements since December 2025 and could provide no timeline for ours. We recognize that immigration outcomes cannot be guaranteed. We never expected guaranteed approval. We did expect competent guidance, meaningful coordination, delivery of contracted services, and accountability when those services could not be provided. We initially trusted Lux Nomads and wanted this relationship to succeed. Our coordinator was generally pleasant and responsive, but that does not make up for the substantial gap between what was sold and what was delivered. **My advice:** Before paying Lux Nomads thousands of dollars, obtain an independent immigration eligibility assessment, request an itemized breakdown of services, and get explicit written refund terms. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Lux Nomads or its VIP program.
