If you don’t know where to start, the Learning Liaisons should be your FIRST step! My experience with TLL was great! I’m a career changer. It was a long time since I’ve been in school and discovering TLL was a great refresh/learning opportunity for me in taking and passing the GKs and Professional Ed exams. The motto “Remember it’s when you pass not if you pass” kept me going through the process whether I passed or not. You know how the saying goes “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again” this motto is just another way to say just that. I’m not a great test taker but by listening and applying the strategies taught by TLL, I focused on the areas I was weakest while continuing to review areas I was strongest. With the support of the bootcamp videos, help with questions I had (don’t forget to tag instructors), and the support of others on the FB page, I was prepared and ready. I passed all my exams within the 2.5 years I was given (no thanks to COVID) all while teaching full time, taking all 6 required college courses for career changers, and taking required classes for new teachers. If I can do it with the help of TLL, then you can too!
