LampsterReviews of thelampster.com

I've ordered my Lampster for a new house that I was planning to build. I lived in a house for almost 2 years as the package arrived. Lampster was totally worthy the wait and I recommend it to anyone else who is patient enough to wait ;) hopefully production will be optimized to cope with enournous amount of orders =) P.s. I did not pay for an individual shipping.

Finally got my order! I decided to pay for individual shipping even though I was skeptical as there were a lot of people online saying tremendous things about this company. The item arrived with a broken glass but they had put a spare in the package and my husband installed it. They must have invested all this time in the details as the app and lamp itself have some well thought features. My nephew really loves it!

It was a long wait but it was worth it. The lamp itself is a fabulous product. Works as announced and is of a good product quality. The creates a creative people that planned to get build some lamps for 30.000$ but ended up with a lot more backers and 1.327.559$. As it is a kickstarter project an you get thanks for your support you can never be save if you get something or not. The documented what they need to change produce over 6000 lamps instead of some 100 lamps. So it was expected for everything to take longer. Also as all plans needed to be redone it is no surprise that they need more money then expected. Also all lamps are hand painted. This need time but get you quality and a one of the kind product. For that it is clear that they try to do the delivery now as cheap as possible. For that reason it takes longer and they are asking for some small money to directly deliver to you faster. What I paid and got my Lampster in the announced time frame.

Yes, I did wait a awhile , but the final product was great , and the communication was also great , I yes , everyone will receive theirs soon. Be patient

Received my lampster yesterday after a long wait and was really pleased with the end result. It seems to be high quality and it synced up to the iOS app without any issue. I know that there are a lot of people patiently waiting for theirs and the wait has been significantly longer than anticipated but that's always a risk with crowdfunded projects. I'll admit that I was frustrated with waiting but I've backed a number of projects that just disappeared completely so I'm definitely pleased to see that these guys are still chipping away at filling orders to meet their commitment.

The lampster was more than what I had expected and it was worth the long wait.

Totally worth waiting for! Good quality, great design, love it.

Well, ordering a product and waiting over 3 years can be really a pain - but this it how it goes with crowdfunding projects - and I can tell you, the waiting was definitely worth it! The design is really great, and the light especially the RGB functions are fantastic, the whole package includes beside the lampster a spare glass for the light, rubber shoes, leather holster, a very nice booklet with information from the production process and raw materials, a postcard and a nicely printed gunnysack. If you want to fill the lamp with (fine) sand to have a better stand I recommend to carefully look at both hands of the lampster, I had small (maybe production related) holes there and some sand was running through it, but this could be fixed with a little glue in no time. Alternatively, just use a larger graining, I had very fine bird sand. The software also looks good, but I still have sometimes connection issues with my android 9.0 and the lampster. Fortunately, I was told that they are working on updates an that in the next month update fully Android 9 support will be implemented. Therefore, and rated as an overall package, 5 stars for the lampster. Thank you #thelampster for this unique piece of art and light.
