Cost/Benefit - Not Great
The best part of this program was the weekly calls with Dr. Axe and his generosity in be available to answer our specific questions. I do however think the questions should be limited to the participants of the program and their health concerns and not the health concerns of their family members. The rest of the program is very canned and not specifically targeted to the individual. For the cost, it should be more specific to each individuals needs. The practitioner that you meet with is very limited in what they are allowed to recommend so it would be better to have practitioners with higher educational degrees or licenses in order to be more prescriptive to the individuals needs. Again, given the amount of money that this program costs, I think the benefit is just not great. I would have rather spend the money on a functional medicine doctor that could tailor everything to my specific needs.
Response from The Health Institute With Dr. Josh AxeAug 4, 2025
Thank you for your honest and thoughtful feedback. We’re truly glad to hear that you found value in the weekly calls with Dr. Axe and appreciated his personal engagement — it’s something we know means a lot to participants, and we’re grateful you experienced that firsthand. We also hear your concerns loud and clear. Your feedback about the scope of the practitioners and question format during the calls is important, and it helps us continue refining how we serve our clients at a higher standard. While we aim to provide a structured system that equips as many people as possible, we recognize it may not offer the level of individualization that some are seeking — especially when compared to ongoing care from a licensed functional medicine provider. Thank you again for sharing your experience. Your insight is helping us grow. With respect, The Health Institute
