This company is very customer unfriendly. Phone call goes to a computer that cannot understand anything. I "press 1" to be called back and but the computer just puts me on hold. After 15 minutes a man answers the phone and says he has 25 more waiting on the line. Hartford, hire more people. This company collects your premium and gives odious reports to file even though there have not been any claims. They collect too much personal information.

My auto insurance was cancelled though I had signed up for auto renewal. I called them to renew it. they refused to take me in. THey renewed ARPmembership card through the same bank account details. They don't care to serve the customers.

Greedy salespeople. I was given an absurd quote of more than $6000 per year to cover a 2011 Camry and a 2012 Altima. That is right- six thousand dollars per year.

I work in the lending industry and everytime a client has The Hartford for their insurance carrier I cringe. They have a lender portal that does not give you everything you need they always try to direct you to. You always end up having to call and wait for 30 minutes just to treat you horribly and basically can never do anything for you anyway. Just had a client and their spouse passed away so trying to be a decent human to get his information updated to refinance his loan and they were still horrible to deal with knowing this information. Seriously the worst insurance carrier ever!!!

They are absolutely horrible.I have 2 cars.One is garaged every since I bought the lexus s u v andon't drive the Altima As much they say you can go in on the portal change information add information update information etc. Now somebody took it a upon themselves To add full coverage to a car. That's just being garaged and I'm not paying them like that every time I turn around and something happens to my vehicle. I try to put in a claim for hurricane Debbie. I got c*** about that. They want your money, but when it comes to paying out for claim. They told me on my lexus that they couldn't do it because I wasn't in S.C. In which I would I was I have receipts and It seems as though they're always out to do something sneaky on On my policy other than what I want . It seems like it's what they want me to have or they tweak witcher saying So that can make more money! I'm looking for somebody who can give me better rates Don't believe all the bells and whistles about the heartford/aarp They just don't listen to what you want. You telling me what paperless and they just do once again? Whatever they want to do, how do you do business trying to rob your customers of the service you say you provide as your insurance company? My advice to people dont fool with these folks.

They lie about dates and receiving information from my doctors. They steal money and make up reasons to deny your claim. It is terrible how they treat humans.
