The Flaming Candle is a horrible company to order from. The fragrance oils arrived with no real packaging for protection. Just thrown in plastic bags in anyway possible. Arrived leaking, labels were so soaked they were missing from the bottles. Couldn't tell which one was which. Customer service is a joke, getting a run around regarding a claim link? Anyways, avoid at all costs!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Not Happy Being Ripped Off
I received an incomplete order from early September. No one answers the phone and emails I have sent go unanswered. So I guess I need to reach out to my credit card company and they can go after them. There are so many better places than FC anyway! But I don't like being ripped off. Company is awful and I sense they are "going down in flames".

Still waiting
I received an incomplete order; I mean it was WAY short. I cannot reach out to them via their customer service number because they direct you to send an email. Once you send the email, they don't even respond within the time frame that they give themselves. The order that I'm referring to is well over a month old now. I have sent multiple emails but they I'm not responsive. I needed the sents that I ordered for craft shows that have now come and gone and still I have a huge inomplete order. This was the biggest order that I have ever placed with this company at one time, and it will be my last. I wish to take my business elsewhere, and give it to a company who actually cares about their customers experiences. The only thing left that I can do is to seek legal action because they are leaving me no choice.

Lost another customer due to customer service
I have been a customer for years. I placed an order in the middle.of September. It took weeks to arrive but I was understanding as they are moving warehouses. I even congratulated them and explained my business just moved to a larger warehouse and how exciting it is to see them grow.
Mind you, this order was almost $3k and when it arrived damaged, they wanted me to weigh the bottles so they can replace only what had leaked.
After reading other reviews, it looks like this is becoming a common issue for TFC.
This is unheard of to me. Im actually trying to imagine how it would go if my customers complained about leaks and I only offered to replace what had spilled. Well, I wouldnt be in business much longer after that lol
So, after weeks of trying to resolve this privately with them (you would think we have been going back and forth a bunch in that time but, no, they only have responded 2 times) I have no choice but to eat my loss and share my experience.
I did ask for a refund but doubt they will go that far if they wont replace the product.
Now im out a LOT of money and I have to find a new supplier because they refuse to work with their customers, wont communicate in a timely fashion, and it is like talking to a corporate handbook, not an actual customer service rep, but I also dont trust their manufacturing process. Would you trust a company who says to use products that leaked in transit? I expect my products to be shelf stable and free of contamination, but TFC apparently isnt concerned about that.
I regret using TFC as a supplier, and I suspect these issues are either from them selling the company and having new owners or that they are going under.
Well, if they aren't already going under, they are speed running in that direction.

I placed an order with The Flaming…
I placed an order with The Flaming Candle and paid for Priority shipping, which was supposed to arrive by September 19th. The package didn’t show up until October 3rd, more than two weeks late — and when it finally arrived, several fragrance bottles had leaked all over the box due to careless packaging.
I reached out multiple times and received slow, unhelpful responses. Even after sending photos and proof, the company refused to take full responsibility or refund the shipping I paid for. This entire experience has been frustrating, costly, and time-consuming for my small business.
I will not be purchasing from this company again or recommending them to anyone. If you rely on timely deliveries and quality control for your business, I’d strongly suggest ordering from a more dependable supplier.

Run as far and as fast from this…
Run as far and as fast from this company as you possibly can. Without any warning to their customers, they moved warehouses which has caused month+ delays in shipping with NO COMMUNICATION. When you try to email for an update? they send you a 10% off coupon. I placed an order on August 28th, followed up by email (again) today on October 7th. They said "their warehouse cannot provide an ETA". Do not give your business this money. Use a company that cares about their customers, and that is certainly NOT this company

I placed my order on August 16th and…
I placed my order on August 16th and selected a shipping option that guaranteed delivery by August 28th. Despite this, my order did not even ship until September 5th. I contacted customer service on the 28th after receiving no shipping notification. The response I got was shockingly poor. Instead of addressing the clear discrepancy between the promised delivery date and the actual shipping delay, I was told that orders were “averaging 12–14 days to ship, not including weekends,” which supposedly placed my delivery between September 5th and 7th. This explanation was not only dismissive but completely inaccurate, as the checkout page clearly listed August 28th as the delivery date something that Google still retains in my order confirmation (screenshot included).Unfortunately, the poor communication was only the beginning. The product quality was even worse.
All of the fragrance oils I purchased were advertised as cold process soap safe, yet the performance was appalling.
Honeycrisp Harvest: I used the maximum recommended usage rate of 6%. The scent was barely noticeable when making the soap, and now, nearly a month later, it has completely disappeared.
Storm Watch: The fragrance was overpowering at first but quickly faded during curing. After four weeks, only the faintest trace remains.
Amber & Oud: When used in lotion, this oil refused to emulsify, causing complete separation (rectangle container) and wasting materials. I made the same formula using Brambleberry’s Cashmere Noir (round container) and it blended flawlessly, confirming the Flaming Candle oil was the issue.
Crème Brûlée: I tried again with this fragrance, same formula, same problem, separation and wasted materials (2nd rectangle container).
Between the misleading shipping promises, the unprofessional customer service, and the poor quality of the products, The Flaming Candle has proven to be one of the most disappointing suppliers I’ve ever ordered from. I will not be purchasing from them again and strongly caution others to reconsider before spending their money here.
