HONOR AT SALE, ONLY 149 SEK! After a tryout period I decided that the claim of objective journalism was as much fake as a former US president. I cancelled but was charged SEK 149 for a new period. Normal procedure in Sweden is that if a customer is dissatisfied and do not want a service, he get his money back. But not from Epoch Times.

Sleazy cancellation process requires you to call an 800 number where a non native english speaker reads a guilt script to try to make you feel bad about it.

All but impossible to cancel service! First you get routed to some english is not a first language person. Then you have to demand to speak to someone in the US. Then if you even get through, you have to hope that the US rep doesn't simply disappear on you-ending your call. It's a slap in the face to every American that Epoch Times, which is supposedly a conservative source would even start by sending your customer service support to a foreign country. Now that I am on my 6th attempt to have my subscription issue resolved, I am resolved to just cancel the subscription and end the agro!

Received a free copy in the mail. Had never heard of the paper but the advertisement enclosed with paper quoted Sean Hannity touting the paper. That is all I need to know. A total rag of a paper and pages of lies.

Canceled (I hope) within a few days of subscribing for $99. Had to jump through all sorts of hoops and apparently NO REFUND for my few days of use. I got this message: Your subscription has already been cancelled or scheduled for cancellation. If you need to talk to customer service, please visit help.theepochtimes.com And of course the email address is non-existent. Could it be help@... Nope, that didn't work either. So apparently no way to contact them. I'll be advising everyone I know NOT to subscribe to The Epoch Times.

The news itself is good, but the subscription is very difficult to unsubscribe to. I lost $10 because I couldn't call their customer service in time, and was refused a refund.

The theepochtimes.com makes it very difficult to cancel a subscription by not providing any button by which to initiate cancellation on their "Subscriptions" page. After searching the web for the cancellation button, I found it but it then takes me to a webpage where they try to sell me on other offers and make me watch a video before showing me the information to cancel. After going through this, they don't allow online cancellations and I'm required to call a phone number. This is an awful practice designed to discourage cancellations.
