The website works pretty well. Sometimes you can find cheaper prices if you look for yourself on Amazon. Also, if you click their link to go to Amazon it doesn't exactly work. It takes you to Amazon but not nessesarily to a product in the same condition and price as advetised.

The bookstore provides a reasonable amount of options when it comes to what retailer you would like to purchase your book from; therefore, also supplying an accommodating price range. With that being said, there are a lot of small irritants and bugs that can cause users to get confused or just annoyed by the website. For instance, my email was hit with a small barrage when my classes "posted" the books I needed to order, but when I went to check, I had already ordered the books. They were just no longer labeled as "purchased", making me doubtful on whether it just the system or if I needed to start tracking my books and hoping they made it to campus. Along those same lines, if something goes wrong with an order or a book arrives in horrible condition...good luck, Soldier.

Shipping cost might be a bit much expensive than necessary, and buyback costs are way discouraging. Sometimes books are more costly than at other vendors. I do like the option to apply college financial aid to books costs.

Hello, On campus buybacks are not performed by us, but instead by a third party who gets connected with your school. We often have direct buyback options through us which may be higher, and permit you to resell books through our site at a price you determine directly to other students. If you have any questions about our instant bid buybacks or how to sell your book, please contact our customer experience team at textbookx.com/help Thanks, TextbookX
