LSATMax & BarMaxReviews of testmaxprep.com

I am currently trying to study for the LSAT while living in South Korea and studying options are extremely limited. I tried studying on my own with books and practice tests but was overwhelmed by trying to independently learn all of the information and strategies to be successful on the test. This app has made my studying 100x more productive. Plus, as an expat with limited resources, I now have someone to whom I can pose my questions when I don’t understand certain concepts or questions. Worth the buy. UPDATE- I originally wrote this review five years ago. I have since gone to law school, graduated, passed the bar, and begun working as a judicial law clerk.

LSATMax is by far the best investment I have made in my educational career. Before using LSATMax, I spent close to $1,400 on Kaplan’s ‘LSAT Advantage On-Site’ program thinking that an in-person approach would be the best way for me to learn the strategies necessary to score well on the LSAT, however I was completely wrong. The Kaplan instructor was friendly and knowledgable, yet I felt disconnected from what was being taught. Ultimately, the instructor did not provide the classroom experience I was hoping for. Even though LSATMax is app-based, I felt more engaged than I did in an actual classroom and having the virtual blackboard helped me to understand the information faster and easier. Everything taught in LSATMax is at your own pace and being able to ‘rewind’ a lesson is great for grasping the concepts. LSATMax provided an out-of-classroom experience that made me feel as though I was in the classroom, which turned out to be exactly what I needed. You can’t argue with results. After preparing with Kaplan, I took my first LSAT during the October 2012 administration and did not score nearly as high as I had hoped for. In preparation for the February 2013 administration, I utilized LSATMax and my score improved 10 points. I can’t say enough about how happy I was with the results. Without LSATMax I would not have been accepted into my dream school and I have no doubt that the 10 point increase made all the difference. There are many LSAT preparation courses available to those looking to take the LSAT, however if you want to score well and get into a top-ranked school, look no further than LSATMax.

LSATMax is my hero! My starting score was around a 155-158, and I scored a 170 on the June LSAT!

failed the NC Bar Exam in July of 2001 by 2 points. As it turned out, I already had a banking job within a Trust Department, so I didn’t need my license. For the last fifteen years, I have worked within banks of all sizes in Trusts, Estates and Wealth Management fields. After much consideration, I decided I wanted to go back and take the Bar Exam to start my own practice. Yes, this was quite a mid-life crisis job change! I researched all Bar Prep courses, and I found BarMax. While they did not have a specific NC course, I was concerned about the Multistate, so I ordered the program. I could not have been happier. The lecture/outline content is what you need to pass the Bar Exam-period, and the practice questions are absolutely right off the test. You can do practice questions on your phone or iPad at any time, and the whole system is user-friendly. Fifteen years after graduating from law school, I passed the Bar Exam and started my own practice. Thank you, Mehran and BarMax!

I wanted to let you know that I passed the July 2017 UBE. I was working over 40 hours a week during prep (other then the week I took off right before the exam). I was very happy with the course. My score was high enough to transfer to any UBE state in the country. This is my second bar exam. I passed my first one using Barbri, so I am very familiar with other courses. I decided to use BarMax after my family moved to a new state. BarMax was better then BarBri in my opinion, and for a third of the price. The BarMax prep course was great. I found it to be very convenient with the BarMax app. I studied with an iPad mini on my way to work each day on the train during my commute. It was convenient because Wi-Fi was not necessary, and I didn't need to pack around any heavy books. I also found the model answers very helpful in preparation for the essay portion. Thanks so much for what you are doing!

I graduated in May 2016 and started clerking for a district court judge in Saint Paul, MN, in June 2016. The legal job market in the Twin Cities is externally competitive and I could not pass up the opportunity for employment. I took the MN Bar in the summer of 2016 and again in the summer of 2017. I used Kaplan as a study resource, but could not find a good balance between keeping up their study schedule, working, and keeping myself somewhat sane. The BarMax app enabled me to easily listen to lectures and drill multiple choice questions whenever I had downtime. I enjoyed BarMax and felt it was worth the investment. I sat for the MN Bar again this past February [2018], passed, and will be sworn in this coming May.

BarMax is the affordable, complete and modern bar review course. The combination of focused lectures with worthwhile examples that bring the concepts of law to life along with the "real" MBE practice questions makes the MBE program a no-brainer. In 2018 where nearly everyone has a smartphone or tablet all programs should offer the flexibility that BarMax does. Listen to a lecture on your commute? No problem. Want to rip off a few MBE questions while lounging on the couch? Ready and available. Forget your outlines at home? No problem, just log into your account and everything is available and all synced up. Having now been admitted to three different state bars thanks to BarMax I can confidently state that BarMax is the best blend of modern technology, bang-for-your-buck cost and effective use of your precious study time.

It is thanks to BarMax that I passed the NY Bar exam. I had failed the exam 4 times before, having taken and/ or used Barbri, PMBR, and Baroutlines.com. None of these gave me the kind of practical, user-friendly review I got from BarMax. I also needed a comprehensive review since years had passed for me since my last attempt at the exam, and BarMax provided that as well. I was able to study, review, and do practice questions and essays practically anywhere and anytime that worked for me, on my own schedule, as long as I had my iPad with me. The practice questions, in particular, and the ability through the app to easily gauge your progress on them was invaluable. really cannot recommend this product enough (in fact I already have to friends taking the July 2012 exam!) Admittedly, I thought the price tag was a bit steep when I purchased BarMax but I took a chance and it has been well worth it! I paid 4 times that for other courses without the results. BarMax is the Bar review method of the future. I took a chance and succeeded, and if it worked for me it can work for anyone!
