Passed the bar after taking the BarMax course. Not only do you get to keep the lectures after the class is over, but the course is organized so that you're not sitting through listening to extraneous material, which makes it a time-efficient course, unlike some alternatives out there.

I have also used Barbri for a previous exam which I passed, but I prefer TestMax as I feel they were able to better organize the information that you need going into the bar. I would recommend this program which I used before passing the Ohio Bar!

I am not the traditional Bar Exam applicant. I am 75, graduated from Law School in 1978, passed the Bar Exams for DC and Maryland in 1978 and 1979, respectively, and stopped practicing law well over 10 years ago. The BarMax program provided a condensed book that mirrored the lectures provided (on some I just used the book as the lecture reiterated what was in the book). I went through the book twice. But, for me the most helpful aspects of the program were the practice questions, the practice tests and the interactions with the BarMax Staff – Celeste was off scale great. Where I did not understand the answer, Celeste got an email and she patiently explained. I think that each applicant needs to set up a program using the Book, lectures, questions, and BarMax Staff and then stick to it with confidence. I passed the Bar Exam on the first try with a significant margin to spare. Thanks.

The program started before my finals were done so it was longer than most but did not require the long hours of studying. You could start it when you wanted. In fact I listened to most of the lectures before I began actual studying for the bar, while I was walking my dog. I purchased the program in January and began listening to the 1L lectures for review. When when I began studying I was reviewing the lectures. I loved the amount of short answer question that came with the program. Right around a 1000 and they are the real questions asked the MBE. They gave you the actual questions asked in previous year's OPE and MPT questions. I believe over 20 years of bar questions. They gave you the materials that you needed to succeed. It cost a lot less. I used the mobile app. while I walked my dog and sold my plasma. I would recommend BARMAX for anyone taking the bar!

BarMax made bar passage possible. The lectures are concise and matter of fact. There is no wasted time singing pop songs or learning the history of pasta sauces. The question sets after each lecture are on point and drive home the rules of law that are actually tested. BarMax helped me gain 20 points on the MBE alone. The question sets allow you to pinpoint where you have a gap in knowledge. I used the feedback on the MBE question sets to hone in on problem areas and then listened to the lectures directly on point. Because the program is broken into smaller pieces, I was able to tailor my fields of study and not waste time listening to information I was already comfortable with. Doing this was more efficient and ultimately provided the outcome I needed. There are "office hours" which are real-time lectures with BarMax tutors. Celeste, who runs the office hours, does a phenomenal job. Having a real-time office hour gives you access to a personalized bar prep class made for you. If you did not take a class, such as secured transactions" in law school, the greatest hits lectures are your ticket to success. Again, all the information you need, none of the nonsense you don't. I got myself some private tutoring sessions in order to bump my score a few points on the LSAT. Every session was fully based on what I needed the most help with. Adam made sure I understood each question before moving on and even challenged me to explain passages when I didn’t think I could. Ultimately, my understanding of this exam has never been better and I am confident that I did well.

Thank you BarMax for helping me pass the TX bar exam! I had only used Barbri since I took and passed the IL bar the first time and passed. However 8 exams later (3 failed attempts in CA and 5 failed attempts in TX) I found myself at the point of no return as this was the last time I could take the TX bar exam. Im so glad that I switched to BarMax! Their program was much easier to manage while working and their MBE questions were actually different/harder than the Barbri questions which made me more comfortable on exam day. I found the flash cards helpful and the lectures notes more concise and digestible. Thank you so much BarMax for helping me pass this test with flying colors!
