The outlines are concise with language I will use on the bar exam, when writing essay responses. They are spot-on when I analyze MBE question answer choices. The lectures from Bar Max staff have helped me with organization and emphasize a practical approach to study. One of the most helpful suggestions came from Celeste about using the outlines to review the law before selecting an answer choice to an MBE quesiton. I am doing that now in my study.

After obtaining my LL.M degree in the U.S. I knew that the next step was taking the NY Bar Exam, which is a major challenge for a Civil Law lawyer (from Chile) like me. BarMax is streamlined and focused in its materials its assignments. The lectures help you understand the analysis that is to be done and use lots of examples. The questions are true to the bar exam and give excellent analysis for the answers, so that you can learn in your review. Communication is excellent. Lots of information focuses on strategy, rather than re-teaching law school. You are given the opportunity to do lots of practice of both multiple choice questions and essays, which is what is really necessary to practice for the real exam.

I enjoy the various ways the study material is presented. I especially enjoy how the essays only test two or three rules at a time. The chinking of the assignments takes the fear out of attacking essays.
