i had ordered £202.45 worth of goods and i had ordered them to be delivered to my work address and it took ages for tesco to be sent and then when they were sent it was being delivered by hermes well i wait and waited and the three times were could not find and then could not get in and then they had delivered it but buy no one at our address of that name and now it is taking ages for tesco and hermes to sort out and i am not happy with the service and unhelpful way they have been i normally get it delivered to the store but it was too big of a order to be delivered there so work was best as i know that someone would be here Joke and i haven't finished yet

Awful service. Whenever we would book a service they will be late 4 out of 5 times. Sometimes for up to an hour. Today was a last drop of my patience as I've received a text message that delivery will be late AGAIN, then drivery didn't even bother to show up and lied by filling up false information on a system that he has tried to deliver, but no one was opening the door and no one would pick up a phone, when nobody rung the bell nor tried to reach us over the phone. When called Tesco, I had to listen to all this nonsense and then I've been told that I will need to rebook a delivery slot and pay for it again, on top of that our fridge will remain empty for next two days as they could not be bothered to accommodate delivery for the following day. It is difficult to get things so wrong even if you do it deliberately, but it seems that it is effortless for Tesco.

I don't have a local Tesco so have never used their shop or web shop. However with so many adverts on TV displaying their 3 for 2 on toys promotion I thought it would be worth a try. So I browsed, and it turns out this is like Amazon. They sell items from all partner sites, so only around half were in the offer. Still, the one item I really wanted that was out of stock everywhere else was featured. I ordered 3 toys at £30 to get the best deal. A bit annoyed I still had to pay for postage whereas other toy sites are usually free over a £30 spend. I selected the 2-5 day delivery. So 5 days later I checked my online account, my order was still set as "being processed", and just before I could call them I received a call from them. One of the items I had paid for (typically the only one I really wanted) was out of stock. They told me I could choose another to buy and they'd still honour the 3for2. However I had to place my order separately and pay for it, then I would be refunded the £30 when it had been dispatched. I said I have no money left in my bank. I told them the exact product I wanted to swap it for but they said I couldn't do that. I managed to sort it out and order the new item. I spoke to 4 people upon phoning, three were very nice and one was not so accommodating. Though most annoying was the automated jumbo you have to sit through to get you to the right department. So I am still waiting on the delivery of the first order. Be aware that the 2-5 day delivery will start from whenever they decide to dispatch it! It was supposed to come today be their estimates, but the tracking number they have given me for myhermes is not valid. This will be for the 2 toys that were initially in stock. I expect that in a week or so I will receive the product that I chose for the swap. A lot of waiting around. If something is out of stock it should be on a counter and remove itself as people purchase. I have read a lot of reviews with the same issue from tesco. Also, if a shop has a 3 for 2 around Christmas time, they should expect to be busier and to have the staff to deal with more orders instead of getting this backlog. I took today off work for nothing! I can only hope my items arrive and I am satisfied, as perhaps this review is a little premature.

I received an email saying my parcel had been dispatched but it never arrived. When I rang they said it was because it was out of stock 😕How can you dispatch something that isn't there? Rubbish service

I placed an order on the Tesco Direct site on a Sunday which they split, part of which was subcontracted to "the entertainer". I paid £5.95 for express delivery which, because I placed the order on a Sunday, guaranteed delivery on Tuesday - but it did not arrive!. The Tesco Direct call centre handled the problem well but from what I could gather, "the entertainer" washed their hands of it and said that as far as they were concerned they had 2-3 days to deliver. DO NOT place orders with Tesco Direct if they are going to subcontract. If I were Tesco, I would be very concerned stating that a company was as "Approved Tesco Partner" when this so called partner offers such a terrible service.

DISGUSTING SERVICE JUST STAY AWAY!!!1111!!!

I recently ordered a playhouse for my daughters birthday but they cancelled my order without contacting me and now my 5 year old is left without a present. Tescos could not fulfil my order but still debited my credit card. I asked to make a complaint but tescos just replied that they will take my comments onboard. The only solution they gave me was to pay again but for a different playhouse which would not be delivered in time for her birthday. What a great company!!!

Bought a laptop from Tesco site using one of their partners. It was delviered ok but was faulty so we had to return it. The Tesco website says returns are handled through them so we phoned and arranged the laptop to be collected. Nothing happened for a couple of days so we contacted them again and had another collection arranged. Again nothign happened. Contacted them a further 2 times and got a vague promise of a collection - guess what - nothing collected. This is now a week on. Today contacted Tesco direct to be told bluntly that my contract was with the partner and not with Tesco and refused to deal with it ! Instead gave me the supplier's phone number. They were courteous and have arranged collection. They said Tesco are always pushing things on to suppiers. DO NOT USE TESCO DIRECT
