Ordered barbecue, selected delivery date which was not met. Received text to advise delivery would be following day, but again failed. Called customer service 3 times over 3 days to chase, by this time the product was half price so I decided to cancel. Still no email confirmation of cancellation and order status is ready to despatch. I hope to see my £400 back without having to make contact again. Scrappy service where customers are expected to do all the work, I won't be using them again.

I ordered an armchair on 28/4/17 and booked delivery for today 23.5.17 and took the day off. Got an email from Arrow (suppliers/carriers whatever) yesterday saying delivery 23/5/17 between 7.45 and 9.45. Disposed of old armchair late yesterday and was all ready for the delivery. 10 minutes into the delivery slot get a call from Arrow 'Sorry, item not loaded so no delivery today.' I asked when it would be delivered and was told ' we'll email you nearer the time'. I exploded. Rang Tesco and spoke to a nice lady who advised me that Arrow had problems over the last few weeks with their warehouse. So, why wasn't I informed earlier? Why did I get an email advising two hour delivery slot? If they knew they could not deliver why send the email? I said that my order and, therefore, contract was with Tesco, not Arrow. So I have now cancelled the order and have been told the money will be in my account 3 to five working days. Here I stand with no armchair, no money to pay for another one and totally disgusted with both Tesco for non delivery and Arrow for sheer incompetence. Do not buy large items from Tesco Direct - go elsewhere even if it means paying more.

On purchase of bedroom furniture 8 deliverys and a house full of fire wood what should have been final try turned up today via arrow xl boxes in bits furniture again damadged rang tesco told yet another to be delivered weds another day of lost earnings £720 so far lost more than purchase price and am still sleeping on floor and wardrobe is my bathtub and loft tesco should be embarrassed at there conduct shame on you

Absolutely awful experience. Tesco obviously do not check or vet any of their apparently trusted partners. You could be ordering from any dodgy trader. Be careful if buying on this site. Avoid jbs music at all costs.

I ordered a laptop one morning but received an email in the evening that they are out of stock. A friend of mine ordered the same laptop 30 min after me... and he got it. Tesco Direct is a scam trader and liars.

Purchase a sofa which, after 18 months use developed a problem with the springs. Tesco direct sent out an independent sofa repair man (FIRA) who repaired the broken springs. Half an hour after he left, another spring broke. Contacted Tesco who arranged for him to come back. He advised that it was of poor construction and we should refuse a repair and ask for a refund. We were then given the run-around by tesco as there was only one man in the organisation who could authorise this and he was off sick. As a customer, I was just expected to wait (with a broken sofa) until his return from sick leave - and no-one knew when this would be. By this point it had been 6 weeks since the sofa had developed the fault. After several phone calls and my insistence, we agreed on a partial refund and I was told that this would be with me within 10 days. 14 days later and still no refund. They are impossible to deal with, you can't speak with the customer care team directly and there is a lot of confusion about the process for a faulty product which is over 12 months old. Come on Tesco, get your act together. The law makes it clear what your obligations are - if you start to meet them, then your review rating might improve. Meanwhile, 8 weeks later...where's my refund??!!

I bought a laptop in the sale which then was faulty within 2 months. Sent it away to be fixed and returned worse than before. Offered a refund as no laptop was now that price! Gutted as it was a Christmas present so really wasn't happy that I had to then get a less quality laptop. Refund took a long time to process

I bought dishwasher Hotpoint on the 17th Feb 2016. On the 15th the electronics went wrong, but as I was busy with work I called them on the 2nd March 2017. As I was late calling them, but they were not intrested and stated that I was out of warranty. I tryed to use my Consimer Rights and wrote email to them on the 3rd March 2017. They never replied.
