Tesco Direct First and last time. So I order my daughter’s Christmas present from TESCO DIRECT and book delivery for Monday 11th December. Then I get a voicemail asking me to call back and confirm delivery for Saturday, which I do not do because that does not suit me. Then I get an email at 7.46am on Saturday saying it will be delivered between 7.30 and 10.30. Then the delivery guy from XPO calls me to say it will be delivered by 10.40. At 11am I call him back to ask where he is. He is over 1 hour away but will deliver by 2pm. How bad can you get? I buy online to save me hassle not create more hassle. Tesco Direct – never again.

No stars wasn't an option! Ordered my item mid November and booked a delivery slot for 2 December as I could guarantee I would be able to stay in for as their delivery window is, ridiculously, 7am - 7pm! I received a phone call the day before asking if I would still be able to accept the item of which I said yes and then was informed that on the day they would contact me an hour before delivery was due. I NEVER received the call nor did I receive my item! I rang Tesco Direct the next day to find out where my item was, to find out it hadn't even been dispatched yet and I should have received an email saying there was a delay. I DID NOT receive such email and what is odd is I received the phone call the day before. The lady I was speaking to said she would find out what is going on and call me straight back. 3 hours later no call, so I called again and spoke to a guy who said it would probably take 24 hours for the courier service to get back to them and he would ring me up in 24 hours to confirm what was going on. I didn't receive that call either! Rang up again and spoke to another guy who convinced me to give him a chance to find out when the item would be dispatched and he would call me before 11pm (when he finished work). Guess what! I didn't receive that call either. Rang up just before 11pm to get a refund as I was beyond angry at this point to only find that you can't refund me immediately you have to go through a process and I am to trust the you to complete the process! I doubt I will receive my refund anytime soon and will probably end up speaking to someone different who will end up saying the refund wasn't even processed. For such a huge company you have no excuse for this service! DO NOT blame your courier as you are the one who chose them! I will NEVER use Tesco Direct again!

If i could give no stars i would, ordered at the start of Nov two weeks didnt turn up, chased order wasnt even put through, told i would have it in the week and nothing, chased again told it wasnt in stock, ask for a refund, told that would be done within a week and nothing, chased AGAIN told the refund wasnt put through and start of Dec and i'm still waiting for the refund!!.....the people on the phone are nice but beyond usless!!

The worst on line experience to date. System just does not work. Refunds don't happen and they advertise items they don't and won't have in stock

Pathetic customer service, worst delivery company, never ordering from tesco ever again.

Ordered a washing machine. Waited weeks for delivery. Day of delivery it doesn't turn up. I call up and am told that actually its out of stock and they don't know when they will have another one. This was a week ago. Still no refund. Can't get through on the phone just wait on hold endlessly. Do not use this company.

Have been on the phone waiting for over 30 mins to discuss why they have not shipped my delivery... Awful customer service.
