I originally intended to purchase one of Terabit’s promotional VPS offers, but the entire experience was extremely frustrating. No matter how I tried to place an order, the system kept flagging my account as fraudulent, preventing me from completing the purchase. All the information I provided was accurate and truthful, yet I was still mistakenly marked as a fraud. This unreasonable fraud detection system wasted a lot of my time, and in the end, I couldn’t complete my purchase. I hope Terabit improves their verification process to avoid this kind of issue in the future.

Hi, I understand your frustration and apologize for your frustration. Our fraud detection system is automated, and scores factors based on IP, ISP, country of origin and other internal metrics to determine if an order needs to be held. If you order is held, we generally require KYC to validate your identity. If you refuse to provide KYC, due to the risk factors outlined by the anti-fraud detection system, we cannot provide service to anyone who refuses when flagged. This is standard practice across many businesses.
