The website and the product description are misleading. The homepage indicates there is a 90-day risk free trial. This is only for mattresses, and not for toppers. The toppers are not refundable due to 'personal use.' A mattress also has 'personal use.' We purchased the king-sized adapt mattress topper with the cover and the heating/cooling feature because it was touted as reducing transference. We slept on it once and it did nothing for transference at all. I called the next day, was disconnected twice, and eventually told it was not refundable. A waste of $500.00.

Tempur-pedic does not honor their warranty buyer beware
I purchased a tempur-pedic mattress in 2016 and paid over $8000 for it. After two years, the mattress started sagging. I called on the warranty and sent pictures of my saggy mattress. I was told it wasn't sagging enough to be replaced. I reached out to anyone that I could to show the severity of the dip and that it would only get worse over the years. I was still denied. Fast-forward to this year, where I have developed back problems because of the severe sagging. It naturally continued to get worse through the years. I reached out again with pictures and was told that there was a liquid stain on the mattress. As a result of warranty is voided. There isn't a stain on the mattress. The mattress was purchased in 2016. It is now 2025 and the mattress naturally does not hold its bright white color. There are no stains. They of course denied my claim and will not honor the warranty.
Unfortunately, after researching, I have found many people with the same problem. Tempur-pedic refuses to cover their warranty and will always find a reason why. If I knew this from the beginning, I would have never spent this amount of money on a tempur-pedic

We put in a claim a month ago because…
We put in a claim a month ago because the head of our mattress wouldn't raise up anymore. It has been a month and nothing has been done to fix this problem. My husband and I both have bad backs, which is the reason why we bought the bed, so for a month we've been suffering with this bad bed problem. I called today and they said the part was on backorder. As far as I know, this is supposed to be made in the United States. If you have a problem with the part and you have an order that needs to be filled, Why aren't you making the part ?

1-Star Review — Tempur-Pedic Mattress - Purchased at Ashley HomeStore, Miami FL, April 2025
I’m writing this in the hope of saving someone else from the costly mistake my fiancée and I made. We purchased Temperpedic’s top of the line Adapter Collection Medium Firm.
What we bought & why
• Model / price: Queen-size Tempur-Pedic Adapt Collection mattress, roughly $3,399.
• Reason for purchase: The Ashley HomeStore sales rep assured both of us—repeatedly—that this mattress would “fix” my chronic lower-back pain. On the strength of that promise, we upgraded from a cheaper model to the top-tier Tempur-Pedic and purchased the required mattress-protector bundle.
Our experience after 60+ nights
• We followed every instruction: kept the mattress on a solid base, used the protector, and endured the recommended 30-night “break-in.”
• Instead of relief, both of us now wake up stiff and sore. My back pain is worse than it was on our old budget mattress. My fiancée, who never had back issues, now has morning pain as well.
Customer-service run-around
1. Ashley HomeStore (Miami)—Would not allow a second exchange, citing their one-time 90-night Sleep Guarantee (which we unknowingly used up on the first swap).
2. Ashley Corporate—Confirmed the store’s refusal and offered zero alternatives.
3. Tempur-Pedic Support—Sympathetic but said they can’t help because the sale “falls under the retailer’s policy.” They referred me back to Ashley, completing the circle.
Where that leaves us
• $3,500+ in debt (financed through the store)
• Two people with back pain every morning
• No practical way to return, exchange, or even get meaningful technical support
Bottom line
If you’re considering a Tempur-Pedic, do not rely on sales promises about pain relief, and be aware that Ashley’s single-exchange rule leaves you with no safety net. Spend your money with a retailer—and on a brand—that stands behind its comfort claims. With no help from neither Ashley Home Furniture Store nor Tempurpedic, I strongly recommend against purchasing

Lack of basic safeguards and accountability from Tempur-Pedic
I ordered a mattress protector from Tempur-Pedic’s official website (Order #320267694950) on June 27, 2025. Due to a small input error—an extra “.com” at the end of my email—I never received a confirmation or tracking email. I also accidentally selected the wrong size, but without a confirmation screen or follow-up email, I had no way to catch or correct it before the non-refundable item shipped.
Tempur-Pedic’s support team reviewed my case but ultimately dismissed it as a one-off user error. They stated the system “worked as expected,” despite the fact that their checkout flow does not validate malformed email addresses or prompt users to confirm non-refundable selections—features that are standard in most modern e-commerce platforms.
This isn’t just a UX issue—it raises concerns about PCI DSS compliance and overall quality assurance. Robust input validation and order confirmation safeguards exist to protect customers from exactly these kinds of preventable mistakes.
I’m not writing this out of frustration over a return—I’m disappointed that a premium brand refuses to acknowledge or correct a clear flaw in their process.

Pit of Doom
Pit of Doom: Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Medium Is a Bust!
I paid over $4,000 for a Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Medium, and within 2 years it turned into a hot, sagging pit. I woke up sore every morning, stuck in a crater that only got deeper. When I filed a warranty claim, they accused me of altering the photos I submitted — even though I followed all their instructions. What’s worse? A sales rep at Mattress Firm actually told me: “Oh, you bought the ProAdapt Medium? Yeah, it didn’t hold up too good.” That says it all. I later found out dozens of other customers have had the exact same problem — early sagging, pitting, and warranty runarounds. Just search Reddit, Google, or mattress review sites and you’ll see it’s a known issue.
Tempur-Pedic sells premium-priced mattresses that don’t last — and then refuses to honor their warranty when the product fails. I’ll never buy another Tempur product again. I’ve switched to Saatva HD, and I’m finally sleeping without fear of being swallowed by memory foam.

Tempur-Pedic - Unacceptable Customer Service
Tempur-Pedic offered Buy One Get One Free on the accessories purchased - this was not received.
Calling Customer service - A Supervisor Named Marty, hung up the phone without helping or even attempting to help, when I called back, asking to speak to someone else, the call was routed back to Marty and he hose to hang up the second time again without helping.

Very Disappointed
⸻
I have been a loyal Tempur-Pedic customer for many years. Four months ago, I purchased a new bed for my fiancé and me. Unfortunately, one of the legs recently broke off from the screw, despite the bed being relatively new.
When I contacted customer service, I was informed that because we purchased a floor model at a discounted price of $4,500, the product was not covered under warranty. This was never made explicitly clear at the time of purchase.
While trying to resolve the issue, our representative, Eric, informed us that we could not replace just the broken leg—we would need to purchase a full set of six. Additionally, the email we received listed the cost of labor and parts as $89. However, during a follow-up phone call, we were told that labor was not included and that there would be an additional $135 charge for a technician visit.
Given the significant investment we made and my long-standing relationship with your brand, I am very disappointed in how this situation has been handled. I expected better support and clearer communication from a company of Tempur-Pedic’s reputation.
