I was a dedicated Sales Manager for Tempur-Pedic in Tucson at the Encantada Mall. I was given no training whatsoever and treated horribly at the end of my tenure. I am a native Tucsonan, my family being here for over 150 years. I do not recommend purchasing Tempur-Pedic as their margins to produce their product and what they are selling their “sleep systems” is ridiculous. Plus what they paid me and my employees was pennies on the huge amount they were making on each bed and base. We were not even paid commissions on their way over priced bedding especially their pillows. Imagine paying $280.00 for a pillow as a consumer. And then us the employees get nothing in return. Look at these reviews. More than half are of my stellar salesmanship and the excellent experience they received at Tempur-Pedic La Encantada. Look at the one most recent by Ms. Joan Prost who came back to my store because I was the best and even bought me lunch and invited me to Christmas dinner. I am a well respected person in my community and am telling you now Tucson do not spend the money on what they are asking you to pay for their products. I am here for the people I love so much in The Old Pueblo. Tempur-Pedic is definitely not here to give you “Undisturbed Sleep”. They are here for your money only! I am helping several of my friends as a consultant to purchase their beds. Saatva is the only company to look at and now so are my friends. They have the Seal of Approval of the American Chiropractic Association and Tempur-Pedic does not. And their prices are way better and have a superior product. Saatva is money well spent. Look them up.

After less than two years of ownership and care, our $4,000+ bed developed mold on the underside of the mattress. We reached out to tempurpedic for assistance and they did not help us out at all. I have not ever in my life been more frustrated with a company that I've purchased a product from. It would be one thing if we bought a $600 mattress and we were treated this way, but this is THE definitive mattress brand in the US. Well, not anymore. I will be spreading the word wherever possible that this company is truly rotten. Will never purchase a Tempur product ever again.

Medium hybrid is not a medium but a firm as a rock mattress . Worse purchase ever . Body hurts everywhere .

I purchased a pro-adapt firm last year and it was firm and still is firm (2023). I just purchased a second one (11/2024) this year and the same pro-adapt firm is not a firm. It is very soft. I used their exchange for $191 hoping that the first one was a defect. It wasn't. The second same bed is the same very soft. When I complained they blew me off. They are making their firm pro-adapt mattresses softer and they will not admit it. They're making a cheaper bed. Don't buy a pro-adapt firm you will get a soft medium bed.

I’m not getting into the long drawn out ins and outs of our experience of buying the top of them range Tempur mattresses other than to say, disappointment is too weak a word. We’ve had the worst “purchasing” and “customer service” and “product” experience of our entire lives. And I’ve been blessed to be in many countries across the globe and this is without doubt the bitterest and worst experience of our lives!!!

I purchased a $4,000 mattress, and within less than a year, it started to bulge. With my husband deployed for the last 8 months, I've been the sole user of the mattress. As a petite person who takes great care of our belongings, there’s no reason it should have developed this issue. I am frustrated with the warranty process. It’s unacceptable that I, as the consumer, have to bear the shipping costs for a faulty product. They claim to be the best in customer service, yet I find it unjust that I have to cover the expenses due to their poor quality. Had I known this would be the case, I would have chosen a different brand.

I had a Tempur Original from 2000 - 2016. It was pure sleep- and life quality. Back in 2000 they really had this Nasa foam in abundance pumped into their matress. In 2016 I had to get a new one but little did I know that Tempur had changed the foam. I lost 1800 € on a trash-matress. No refund. Tempur Original doesn´t exist anymore. Not as it had been in the past. Today it´s a pitiful story of greed , shame , poorest sleeping-quality. You pay for the brand. You get pain. (And yes, I already tried the 2024 tempur Pro as well - it´s a huge shame!!!).

This relates to the customer service rep Angelo. 1) Angelo maintained a disrespectful disposition toward clients looking for Tempur Pedic to step in on a failed delivery through a company THEY CONTRACT WITH. 2) Angelo childishly engaged himself as a 'manager', glorifying his low level customer service representative role. Angelo claimed there was no manager when asked if I could speak with one. The following day when asking to speak with ‘escalations’ to close this situation out so I could get a hold of Glenda, Angelo said he was the only person on the escalation team which is not correct based on what Glenda told me. 3) Angelo refused to transfer client to another customer service rep who could likely have helped (Glenda is great and she helped us after) 4) Angelo's antagonistic attitude is a reflection of poor training and poor leadership, if not then perhaps his overall dissatisfaction with his life is reflected in his conversations with clients. Any company that condones an employee lying or demonstrating antagonistic disrespect toward any person is not one I want to do business with. As a side note, Glenda was very nice and helpful, as well as Heather. They both informed me they would be letting their superiors know about Angelo’s poor attitude toward a valued client. This would have been our third Tempur Pedic mattress, but due to the failures of Angelo and his incompetence we are moving on. Not what you would expect from a company that sells a $4000 mattress. It only takes one bad apple to sink a company. Oh and to top it off, Tempur Pedic never responded to our requests for escalation at the corporate level. Instead, the gladly overcharged $200 for shipping a mattress that never got delivered, despite the FREE SHIPPING advertised on their website. Best of luck to anyone who engages with this deceitful, dishonest company that is on track to close its doors in the near future if their is their mantra.
