Telestial Inc.Reviews of telestial.com

I really liked overall service by telestail. I was really worried about my parent's return travel from US to India. with the prepaid seem card i was able to get in touch with them during there overlay time at Munich airport. It really helped a lot. Thanks a lot for such great service.

Ordered a Telestial Explorer SIM to use when travelling in Italy and Greece. Very easy to order, rates are clearly explained on the website, and it was shipped quickly. Got a US number in addition to a global phone number by signing into their website. SIM came activated and ready to use. For $29 (plus shipping), you get the SIM and a $20 credit. Very reasonable not to have to deal with getting a SIM in the local country and getting it activated.

We had three in our family taking trips overseas this summer (France, Italy, Israel) and had IPhones (4S, 5 & 5S) Two Verizon and one ATT. Both Verizons were already unlocked and we contacted ATT and they unlocked the other one as we own it and completed the contract on the phone a whle back. Ordered three cards and each phone was easy and quick to setup once we replaced the US carrier's sim card with Telestials. Seems to work great and is very affordable option. We didn't use any data plans and just used these for keeping in touch on phone and with texts. Checked around and this seemed like the best route for us to go.

Within a few days of ordering my international sim card for an upcoming trip, Telestial mailed me my sim card with easy set-up instructions. Immediately I felt ready to go on my trip and confident that I had quality communication to rely on. Thank you, Telestial!

I need reliable mobile service for a three-week vacation driving though several western European countries. I was almost scared away from Telestial by so many negative reviews, but after reading through their details, I decided that most of the complaints were based on misunderstandings about how Telestial's service works, or disappointment with their policies and pricing--all of which are quite clearly stated in numerous of places. We need to remember that global wireless telecom spanning hundreds of countries and wireless providers is still almost miraculous--and a lot like the dancing bear. It's not how well the bear dances that impresses us, it's that bear can dance at all. ;-) So far telestial's email support has been outstanding: fast, courteous, and helpful. Their EKIT 4C quad-band, dual-SIM phone is amazingly descent for a $20 phone. I also bought a Passport SIM for my iPhone 4S, an Explorer SIM for the EKIT, and a 1GB data SIM for my iPad. I hope my experience remains equally positive after I get to Europe next week.

This is my first purchase of a global phone and SIM, and Telestial made the experience very quick and easy. Telestial was highly-recommended by several reviewers on multiple web sites. The Telestial website provided thorough information on their offerings including phones, SIM card options, rates and helpful user guides. I purchased an ekit Economy Pack for my son who is traveling to the Middle East. The package includes an ekit 4C Dual Sim phone and Passport SIM Card. The calling rates are much cheaper than our Sprint service, and the phone is a nice, basic text and talk phone which is exactly what he needed. He has used the phone several times already from Jordan with great call quality and reliable signal. So far the experience has been great, and I would highly recommend Telestial for global travel communications.

I just purchased my second Telestial phone. I got the economy eKit pack and it's perfect. I'm not looking for a smart phone or web surfing abilities. I just want to be able to be reached in case of an emergency and, for this trip, to be able to reach my traveling partner if we split up. The first one was great in France and the UK in the past. That one and the new one will come to Ireland. The basic shipping ($13,90) seemed excessive. The Frommer's coupon helped.

We are traveling to Italy and I contacted the company since we were on a very short timeline as to availability of SIM cards and quick shipping. They were most helpful and expedited delivery. Within 2 days I had the cards and the set up was quick and easy.
