We just purchased a Dell Latitude e5530…
We just purchased a Dell Latitude e5530 and opened it up a little over an hour ago. Initially it was just a white screen and no boot up menu. I immediately called and couldn't reach customer service, so I left a message. After a while of waiting it did end up booting up but we had difficulties connecting it to a network. After being thoroughly frustrated because the network password was shown is incorrect over and over, we finally realized that there was an issue with the keyboard. For instance when we would type the letter A, it would show as we typed the parentheses or an S would be a K. It's obvious that there is something wrong with this laptop. It's very unfortunate because we will now have to spend our own time taking this back to UPS and then waiting on a refund through Amazon. I have video evidence of the condition of the laptop in case they try to claim that we've done something to it. I'm not sure how they continue to sell on Amazon with a lot of different complaints. We definitely don't want to deal with this company any longer. We playing the purchase the laptop from a different seller all together. It's really a shame because I think this would have been nice laptop if it would have been properly refurbished.
