Every app suggestion we receive is carefully vetted through the Healthy Tech Index (https://www.healthytechindex.com), which helps us ensure that what we offer aligns with our mission of providing a more intentional, distraction-free experience. You only need to request an app once to get it into our review queue. While not every app is guaranteed to be approved or added, we are actively working to improve both the review process and how we communicate updates around app availability. We apologize for any inconvenience regarding the app request process—each request goes through a detailed vetting process, and with our small development team, this can take some time. We also have a high volume of app requests and have to review and add them individually, so there is quite a backlog of apps to go through. Our small, dedicated team is doing their best to work through them, and we’ll eventually get to your requested app. We are also working on regularly updating customers when new apps are added. In the meantime, we recommend checking this site: https://techless.notion.site/tool-drawer to see if the app(s) you requested have been added. Feel free to contact our support team anytime for a status update on your app's position in the list. Regarding your concerns about Spotify, we completely understand. Safeguarding Wisephone’s experience is a priority for us, and we do our best to curate a distraction-free environment. However, the Tool Drawer is ultimately at the user’s discretion, including which approved apps are downloaded. For those seeking a fully locked-down experience, we offer the option to use Wisephone as it was originally designed—without the Tool Drawer—ensuring a completely simplified and porn-free device. While Wisephone does not currently support job apps like Indeed or traditional email apps, we are actively exploring ways to expand the Tool Drawer to include features that meet practical needs without compromising our core mission. Many of the “inconveniences” you mentioned in your post are currently under review, and some have already been addressed, such as the haptics and saving contact favorites.
