Took my $20000 and block my account and customer support team not helping issues, I had the organization/company on my photo which can resolve the problem and withdraw money

Pros: - good interface, easy to use (usually) - customer service is quick and they seem to be located in US and all of them are super nice - direct API integration. Sometimes small issues, but overall good Cons: - 2 years ago, I would've given 5 stars. Not today. - they decide to change the tax engine to a new version in the middle of tax season. Who does that? Of course they had hiccups. Even though I was proactive and I had everything sorted at the beginning of the year, this upgrade messed EVERYTHING up, so I had to start over. - can't upload CSVs anymore. Always gives you a formatting error. - unless you are with an escalation ticket, their lead time for CSVs is 2-3 weeks now. - unless you have direct API integration, expect a lot of hassle I have lost over a full week already in dealing with their new issues, and counting. It is simply unacceptable to do such a major change in the middle of tax season. ZERO stars to management. FIVE stars to customer service team, who have to deal with all that!

They do quickly respond to you but never can resolve your issues in a timely manner for tax reporting purposes. My taxes for 2021 are all screwed up because of their APIs not working, and sometimes the software works and sometimes it does not. They have serious growing pains and they are delaying my 2021 tax filings because or THERE ISSUES!!!!

I have used taxbit quite a bit this last year. Their response time is generally speaking very fast for most issues. Several issues required more attention and sadly took months/weeks too resolve. The software that taxbit offers is definetly inferior to competitors. It doesn't match incoming/outgoing transfers. Syncs regularly failed. Going through all your transactions can be very frustrating because the software can be slow. Little to no tax support for people outside of the United States. I would not recommend them to anyone that lives outside the U.S.

Tax optimizer still shows I have coins I no longer have and the My Coins section shows incorrect amounts even after syncing with exchanges. Not sure I am comfortable using this for taxes if it is not correct.

Taxbit has potential, but it needs a lot of work. For starters, at the very least, Taxbit needs to explain why it has a trial period and requires payment method and payment upfront when no one else in the tax industry does (crypto or traditional). Next, the exchange integrations is pretty decent. Still missing Crypto.com, Nexo, and Exodus. The wallet integration is miserable. Taxbit has completely neglected the vast majority of major chains. The CSV import leaves a lot to be desired. It screws up a lot, such as reversing transactions, failing to import transactions, etc. Besides the exchange integrations, the UI aesthetics are decent but the transaction presentation needs some serious work. Such as: when there is a transfer between wallets or exchange-to-wallet, it should show as a single transaction consistently and every time. As it sits, it does such only selectively and rather limitedly. Taxbit gets 1 star for exchange integrations and 1 star (half star if it would let me) for aesthetics. Taxbit has some serious wallet integration and functionality work to do.

I think there are things taxbit does well. The software is helpful once you get it working. The main issues were it imported the data in lifo and it should have been fifo, it took about a month working with support to figure that out. I had to do so much on my own to figure out the issues, no one ever looked at my situation and tried to talk me through it. The support people were not trained to look into the issues i reported and provide expertise or answers, they only act as a go between for questions to the real support techs. Honestly, it was pretty basic and i dont understand why so much time was wasted. Support gave canned responses and when i finally did get personal help they didnt provide any answers or insight. I had to contact support days in a row for hours at a time before the rep remembered me and jumped the line to ask an expert. Imagine if the problem didnt have such a basic solution, Im not confident we would have ever solved the issue. In the future i may not use taxbit, that remains to be seen. You will need to add more functionality to it so i can import all the data without having to go through the whole thing. You will also need to figure out a better process to work out the problems ppl have with your software. It took almost up until the date taxes were due to get a response that wasnt even helpful. Honestly, im glad its over with, but i was very close to using a different taxprep for my crypto. Taxbit only got my business because of the effort i put in to making it work, which doesnt encourage me to try it again.

Every thing needs to updated. your UI needs some ease of use. loading a wallet that your company does not have is brutal, like painful, and it takes forever.
