Customer service is good, Software is intuitive, and overall experience was good. However, it’s frustrating for me to get my data from eToro and Cash App. I would feel much more confident in my tax documents if there was a better integration. I sunk a lot of time in to getting the correct data uploaded. Im happy to pay for taxbit if it saves myself time. However, in my experience it was less convenient.

I would really love to use this product to track (and provide real-time advise on tax implications), however, being UK citizen, living in UK, the TaxBit App currently doesn't support. When it does, I will be very keen to use TaxBit

It fully syncs with several but not all exchanges.

My concern is that when I make smart contract transactions on the Binance Smart Chain on PancakeSwap and some of the other DAPPs, they do not register on TaxBit. TaxBit should be able to follow a BNB that I buy through a CEX (crypto.com for me) as I transfer it to my BSC wallet and swap it for different coins using a DEX. To me, this is the complicated portion of taxes. Using a CEX is easy to track taxes and many of these programs provide the appropriate 1099. I need TaxBit to actually follow my coins through different CEX and DEX across transfers and actually give me an accurate P/L for tax purposes and aggregate my transactions in a chronological order. My fear is that the IRS is the best at tracking all of this and I've made so many transactions, that I need a program to pull it all together otherwise I'm going to have a bad time next summer when I get a letter from my favorite three-letter agency.

PROS: Easy integration for most exchanges and wallets. Interface is very nice, easy to navigate, definitely user friendly. Chat Support is responsive and Friendly. 14 Day Software Trial Option CONS:: No Hardware wallets, like Ledger imports available. Accurate coin totals don't show. No option to show stolen or lost transactions. Tier 2 support not available via chat. Summary: Many things to like but the software should be more mature for it's age. Hardware wallet integration is a must for a easy user experience and more customizable options/filters. Support is quick and responsive. Almost great, so close! That said, I will try it for a year and see what Taxbit does to make it better.

Excellent customer service but the platform is not intuitive and there is no way to to prioritize long term gains in basis selection. API feeds are a great feature, but sometimes fail to update the data in the platform.

I have been dealing with an 'unknown gains' issue going on 2 weeks now. I uploaded all my exchanges as asked. For some reason, I had unknown gains from a transfer from Gemini to Coinbase. I was then told to upload a CSV of all my transactions. I did that. Now I have multiple copies of transactions with different totaling amounts. I keep getting the runaround from the support team, no one seems to give me a definitive answer to solve my problem. Gemini support is AWFUL and won't answer, so I feel stuck, with no meaningful help from Taxbit either. UPDATE: I have raised the rating for this experience. After some time and multiple messages with support, the support team really was able to focus on and help me resolve my issue. I am satisfied with the results, however, it did feel like it took way too long to achieve and was not explained well by some of the team.

The representative is always prompt and courteous. My only concern is that I have not heard back on my most recent question regarding the tax calculation estimation field that has been discontinued. Additionally, sometime responses take a little while. Again, the rep. is always very helpful and concerned about my question/concern. So, his review is much higher ordinarily. Thanks
