Nothing but great things to say about tax tiger. They handled the IRS and State issues well over $40,000 down to $350. Austin and the team worked with me diligently and helped me and my family to be at ease now it's an amazing feeling to be out of the hot seat and wasn't to costly. They even worked with me while I was undergoing financial burden for payments with respect. If you can't sleep at night just call them and trust me you'll feel better. I had my doubts at first but now I don't know why I waited so long. Thank you Tax Tiger.

My experience with Tax Tiger has exceeded any expectations that I had at the start of my experience. They were able to offer a 100$ settlement offer for 28,000$ in tax debt! When I read the offer from the IRS, I was incredulous. I had to read the letter several times before believing it. We started this process almost 6 yrs…
We started this process almost 6 yrs ago with Tax Tiger. At that time the IRS said I owed them over 90 thousand dollars. Tax Tiger worked with us from the start , the IRS had me sign a document that said I am responsible for interest if they deny my offer. With the interest the IRS charges it would have been over 200 thousand dollars . With Tax Tigers help I paid $10,000 plus filing fees and the cost of hiring Tax Tigers.
I believe the delay came from the IRS investigating my background.

Tax Tiger responds shortly and with belittlement....
I called Tax tiger a couple of years ago to help me with some on file taxes they charged me about $2000 for that they were going to help me file my back taxes and do a report to see where we stood when I sent them in my taxes we found some mistakes from that point they said they could no longer do my taxes for the initial fee now they wanted $1200 per year nevertheless I hired my own accountant and did it myself and the report that they claimed that they did was to tell me that I had on file taxes. Steer clear of this company they claim to be a Christian-based company so they can earn your trust all they did was tell me I had back taxes owed and took $2000 from me not to mention they’re very difficult to get a hold of and rude on the phone I’m so disappointed.
Tax tiger founder called me and promised to take disciplinary action with the agents that i was dealing with and promised to refund $250 of the funds I have paid them. I have yet to receive and re-payment.
Now they will say I missed the appointment however this is untrue the person to be at the appointment was late very late and unfortunately, I was already booked by the time they got around to get to me.
I did ask them why it was taking so long to get my returns back from the IRS and my counselor retorted shortly we can't do anything until they are filed, I asked if they could check the IRS website he said flatly NO! The bedside manner of this company is nonexistent.
Then they removed the power of attorney representing me with the IRS..... I didn't get noticed from my representative at TAX Tiger I received it from the IRS, not even the decency to reach out and tell them I was being dropped. When I did reach out I was met with the same short and condescending tones of rejection and belittlement. For them to say they bent over backward is well.... simply untrue. I received poor service and worst customer service. I would not can not and will not recommend this company. If I could leave zero stars I would.

And now, the rest of the story….
You contacted Tax Tiger in 2016 to research your account status with the IRS, determine if any years need filing, and to potentially salvage a prior Offer in Compromise that another company had completed for you, to our understanding. You had mentioned that you needed two years of tax preparation completed so we quoted a fee to prepare two years of tax returns and to research your master file with IRS to determine your liabilities, which you were also concerned about due to a defaulted prior Offer in Compromise. Once we told you what we recommend doing, and our FEES, you decided to retain our services, signed our services agreement, and paid our fees of $1500.
Tax Tiger performed the initial discovery with the IRS, relayed that information on to you, and then began working on the returns that needed filing. Mind you, this is August of 2016, and with much back and forth to obtain information to prepare the tax returns, information was finally provided in October of 2019. All along the way, you complained about tax being illegal and how the government was out to get you, and why did you have to file the returns anyway. Once you provided the information to us, we prepared the returns and mailed them to you four days later in October of 2019. You then waited two months and contacted us about the returns not being accurate, and told us how you never owe that much, so we set up an appointment to discuss the accuracy of the returns with you, but you failed to attend the appointment. We reached out by email, but no response until two months later in 2020, when you again asked us to revise the returns based upon new financials that were provided by an outside financial professional. Upon reviewing these financials, we determined that more or less, the entire return needed to change. We provided you with an additional service fee quote to redo your tax return because of the sheer amount of information that has now changed from what you originally provided. This information was explained, and provided to you in February of 2020. We did not hear back from you again until July of 2020, to which we asked for new financials for resolution services that you were also inquiring about, but we never received those either. You contacted us again in October and November of 2020 asking about the filing status of the returns, and we explained that we could not at that time check due to COVID shutdown and staffing issues with the IRS, and once the returns processed, we would know from letters that are generated. We never heard from you again until May of 2021, when you inquired about why we withdrew our Power of Attorney, to which we explained that we would refile a new one as soon as you retain us for any additional services, but we don’t leave an open ended Power of Attorney on file with the IRS if there are no services we are performing. For whatever reason after that, you decided to leave a review claiming that we did nothing, when in actuality, the only thing you were unhappy with is the result of the tax returns which you provided the information for, and that we revoked our Power of Attorney when there are no services we are providing. We bent over backwards trying to work with you on this for over 4+ years, but now we must wish you well.

I paid them $500 for an IRS initial…
I paid them $500 for an IRS initial investigation. I made payments of $100 using a credit card. During that time they were polite and responded to my emails. After the payment got completed, I sent several follow up emails asking for an update, which they ignored.
Afterwards they sent me an answer that confused me and I asked extra questions which they -again- ignored.
They did not solve my problem and practically disappeared after they pocketed the $500. Now I have to find someone else to help me with the tax problem.
I do not recommend them to anyone. While technically they did not scam, since they delivered a delayed answer, their support office is unprofessional.
Very disappointed.
They flagged my review as false to bully me into taking down, so here is the receipt of one of the transactions. That's how they maintain their fake good score.

I have nothing to gain by posting this review, you have A LOT to gain by continuing to fight me.
This is my last response: I am NOT satisfied with your service because you ignored my MANY follow up emails after you got paid. You also said "contact us with any follow up questions", I sent you an email with questions and waited FIVE days before I posted this review.
For a Christian company you sure like twisting the facts.
I am done here and won't respond further. If you want to blame someone look to your support desk that can't bother to respond.

You hired Tax Tiger to perform an investigation of your IRS account and file, which we performed for you. We performed the initial investigation of your master file and passed that information along to you, but realize that some of our time lines are being adjusted as the IRS ramps up from COVID staffing shortages.
Now, your review states that we did not solve your problem, actually, yes we most certainly did, we completed the services you hired us to perform.
Your review states that we disappeared after you paid $500, obviously from all communication in our system to you, the IRS, and case workers, make this just as false as your first statement.
