Tastytrade does not execute your trades. I opened the account a couple of months ago. Today started trading options. Try to close only one small contract. It took 5 minutes. Tiny trade. Only $20 contract. Excellent OI, Vol, and spread. Then tried to open a very good trade. 100 contracts LP. OI 12K, Vol 150K, bid/ask spread only 1 to 2 cents. Wait for 8 minutes and did not execute. lost an opportunity to profit 50%. Start going way back then, I need to cancel it. Contact Customer Care, and they said nobody wants to fulfill my LP. He tried to show me that it was my fault. Asked for Vol, Spread, trying to suggest I didn't do my homework. With that liquidity? Anyway, on IBKR, my main platform, this never happened. Tasty charges less fees, but if trades cannot be opened or closed there, how can a trader make money with them? Very disappointed with the platform and how customer care agent handle my complaint.

I never write reviews but I had such a bad experience I made an account for this. I have been using the company for 5 years and have always had a great experience until last week. The customer service rep Jo was cold and apathetic, did not address the issue or offer any solutions, and stopped replying before anything was done to resolve it. Seems like they’ve gone down hill and no longer care as much about their customers as they used to.

Después de todo el proceso que conlleva abrir una cuenta, la promo no aplica para personas que no residan en EEUU. Y no hay ningún documento donde puedes leer las bases de la promoción. Hablas por el chat y uno te dice que si aplica, otro te dice que no. Le pides la bases o dónde encontrarlas y te dicen que te tienes que fiar de lo que te digan por el chat, que no hay basas de promoción en ningún lado. Un desastre.

tried the service briefly and noticed that they hide their international wire transfer fee ($45 per transfer) quite effectively. After realizing this, I switched to IBRK. Before doing so, I submitted a GDPR request to have my data deleted. I understand that they must retain some data for legal purposes, but Brad, my customer support agent, did not seem to understand this. Despite explicitly requesting that all data not legally required to be retained be deleted—numerous times—I received no resolution. As a result, I had no choice but to file a complaint with my national DPA office.

I applied to open an account with Tastytrade multiple times, providing all the required information and documents. Despite being an entrepreneur with accounts at other international brokers, my application was rejected without any clear explanation. Their compliance team refuses to disclose reasons, which makes the process frustrating and opaque. If you value transparency and professionalism, I would recommend considering other brokers.

Cada vez que estás ganando y quieres vender la posición te restringen la operación hasta que pierdes un 45% de tus ganancias con una serie de errores identificados con números sin sentido hasta que después de insistir casi rayando en la desesperación permiten tu operación y ya has dejado tus ganancias en la plataforma tastytrade con mucha indignación pues bastante cuesta analizar todo para que con trucos malos otros ganen a tu espensa.

Regret putting money here, cannot short, and withdraw fee is 25 bucks.. which is ridicilous. Also very hard to understand interface for trading.

The bad reviews are definitely real! I keep trying to with draw my funds but can’t because they have to do an “internal transfer”. Just BS all around this company.
