I needed someone "human" to talk to and I found him. My answers got quick answers and I really felt the presence of a support structure that is there for me. Super happy about it. That said, Tasty Trader as a platform should in terms of providing all the info that a customer should need in an easy and clear format, which is not teh case: If I need to know over a year time - How many fees I paid - How many commissions I paid - How many interests I paid - How many dividends I earned and how much taxes I already paid on them - ... I have no such report providing me such holistic view. All these details should be available in a standard report that I should be able to download at my convenience. If Interactive brokers can do it, Tasty Trade has no excuse for not doing it as well ;-) Hence the 4 stars instead of 5 ... Self Service reporting are not up to industry benchmark (Interactive Brokers).

I like the fact that they allow international users to trade options. I would be happier if they allowed fractional shares trading. By and large, it does the job at very reasonable prices.

The trading platform is easy to use and quick execution. However 2 areas require improvement: 1 trade option analysis features have more room to improve. 2 charting can also be improved. It would be good if account type can be extended to SMSF (Self Managed Superannuation Fund Accounts) and Partnership accounts with more than 2 parties.

I'm fairly new to TastyWorks and my experience has been mostly positive. They have a nice platform, and their execution and pricing are first rate. The only reason I'm giving them a great as opposed to excellent is an issue I'm having with someone in compliance in putting an LTA in place. We've been going back and forth. The person I'm dealing with knows that I have a peripheral nerve issue which affects my handwriting, but he's insisting that the authorized agent fill out a section, which he says is not clear, but others seem to have no problem reading. I'm not going to give into compliance's ableism so we'll see where this goes.
