We currently use TapStitch as a vendor…
We currently use TapStitch as a vendor for in house shirts and on our website. We just placed another $800 order. We picked the 22-30 shipping time frame considering it was $180 cheaper. Our shipment is expected to arrive after the 30 days. I have been consistently following up with Nick at TapStitch and their Info email. After this shipment arrives we are switching vendors completely. Not only did they fail to meet the 22-30 day time frame when I emailed them it was the most generic response and Maze stated our shipment is still within that window. Clearly he didn’t check it because it’s definitely getting delivered after 30 days. Their delivery shipment times are completely off- Maze stated in email “ Additionally, please note that this order was shipped via sea freight, which may result in delayed tracking updates compared to air shipments. Sea freight often involves longer transit times and limited real-time visibility until the shipment reaches a domestic carrier for final delivery.” Which indicates TapStitch actually has no idea when your order will arrive. They don’t offer any type of compensation, they don’t even offer any type of apology to keep you as a returning customer. Ironically a lot of their reviews speak directly about this issue. Seems like they know they are loosing customers and don’t really care. Ultimately we are parting ways, you could have offered to refund my shipping and honestly this would have made me stay as a customer because it just shows effort however you emailed me a bunch of bogus excuses. You delayed my shipment which cost me money on retail.
Response from TapstitchJun 27, 2025
Hi Elizabeth, We are truly sorry. Everything you described — the missed delivery window, the generic responses, and the lack of accountability — is exactly the kind of experience we never want any customer to have, and we take full responsibility for the frustration and financial loss this has caused you. You’re absolutely right: ✅ Your order exceeded the promised 22–30 day delivery window. ✅ Our customer service failed to understand and respond to your request appropriately. ✅ You were met with dismissive replies instead of real solutions — especially at a critical moment when you were under pressure. That’s unacceptable. What should have happened — and what our internal process actually allows — is a shipping refund for delays like this. But our team failed to recognize and act on this, which added to your frustration. We sincerely apologize for this failure, again. We’ve reviewed your case in full. To try and make this right, we will be issuing a full refund for your order. This is not just for the shipping delay, but as a gesture of how seriously we take this experience and your trust. You’ll receive a separate email shortly from our team with confirmation and details of the refund process. We also want to let you know that we are taking internal action. The support agent involved will be released from the team. More importantly, we’re reviewing our entire support structure to ensure accountability, consistency, and care — so no other customer ever has to deal with the same. It’s not easy to read feedback like this, but it’s crucial — and we’re grateful you took the time to be honest with us. Thank you for giving us the chance to face it directly. We hope, even if we’ve lost your business, we can regain a bit of your trust through how we respond and improve from here. – The Tapstitch Team
