This is the best therapy experience my teen has ever had. He is excited to go, learns really functional and applicable skills, and I really appreciate all the reminders and check ins from tap outs to help ME keep him on schedule. I also love getting an email about what they learned since he isn't always so forthcoming. It helps me reinforce skills throughout the week.

My daughter was super anxious to speak…
My daughter was super anxious to speak infront of her peers whether it was in class or over a zoom meeting to the point where she'd be in tears. Her instructor Kristen took some time to meet one on one with Keira before one of her scheduled sessions to reassure her that she was in a safe space and that they are all friends. That had a huge impact on Keira and I appreciated Kristen's kindness more than anything! That session Keira was participating infront of the camera and not just in the chat! I could tell that Kristen really put Keira's fear at ease. I would recommend Tap outs to any parent with kids with or with social anxiety. It's a great group and I'm looking forward to see how far Keira will go! Thank you Kristen and the TapOuts staff.
P.S. TapOuts has great customer service too, icing on the cake!

Managing Anxiety
Tapouts has been amazing with helping my son overcome his anxiety. He has learned to cope better with his day to day activities. I would highly encourage to anyone who has a child with anxiety to give this program a try.

I have 2 kids in tapouts and the whole family is benefiting big time!
I have two kids in tapouts and they both love it!
My oldest child is 13 and has really been enjoying tapouts, but the biggest thing I've noticed is the change in how he interacts with his little brother. He gets irritated with his younger brother a lot, and will react by saying something rude or by yelling at him, but lately, he's started saying, "I just need a minute," and he'll walk away. I've noticed this major shift and praised him for it, and he said he's "just trying to regulate more." I can tell he feels better about himself, and his relationship with his little brother is 10x better. I'm so proud of him!
It's funny cause I don't think he'd relate any of this directly to tapouts, but the shift is obvious to me. For him, he loves tapouts because it's easy, and he enjoys his coach, his group, and the games they play. Plus, It's only a half-hour long, so it doesn't take up too much of his time, and he earns points through participation which motivates him big time. He's saving his points up because he's working toward one of the big prizes - which I think is awesome. There are so many valuable things he's getting out of this program, most of which he's not even aware of, but the results are SO obvious to me.
I also have a 9-year-old daughter in tapouts. She's an identical twin and often feels like she's in her sister's shadow. She struggles with confidence. tapouts is one of the only spaces that is just for her and she loves attending alone. In fact, I've noticed she hasn't even mentioned to her group that she's a twin. I wanted her to join to help with her anxiety and confidence, but I'm seeing how much independence she's gaining through having this little community outside of her regular world. Her relationship with her twin is as close as it's always been, but she's starting to share her feelings of comparison more, and she's working through those feelings. She told me last week, "Mom, I like how I look." That is a BIG statement for her, and I've seen her confidence growing week by week. She's also more willing to do her therapy for anxiety than she's been in the past. She has a major fear of needles, and putting in her new earrings every day is a big challenge for her. The other day she walked out of her room so proud, and told me she was able to clean and replace her earrings all by herself. I asked her how she did it, and she said, "I stopped and did box breaths when I got woozy." She learned box breathing in tapouts. tapouts has been such a great supplement in addition to therapy. When I take her to counseling, she always dreads it a little, because she knows she's there to work on hard things, but with tapouts, she looks forward to each session because it feels like fun, not work. She likes her group and coach, and she feels special.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this program.

Easy and effective
I really enjoy the ease of accessibility for this program for both myself and my son. He looks forward to it every week and I can tell that these conversations and lessons are making a positive impact. I also appreciate how they were able to pause my subscription for two weeks while we were away- so easy to work with!

Learning how to react to stressful situations
My daughter uses Tapouts and really enjoys the sessions every Friday! She's able to understand emotions & also learning how to react to stressful situations, especially at school. Can't wait to continue these sessions to see how much she's able to accomplish with Tapouts!

My son has really enjoyed his sessions…
My son has really enjoyed his sessions so far. The coaches know how to keep the kids engaged and break down the concepts so that they’re easy to remember. He also loves being in a group with other kids that are experiencing similar things.
