I had a good experience
I had a good experience. I was in and out of the one on abercorn street in Savannah, GA. They gave me a cold water, were very nice, and everything looks good so far! I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

bad experience on my last visit. The manager talked me into having my coolant fluid flushed along with an oil change. The guy working on my car broke the high pressure hose going to the resevoir. They acted like it didn’t happen and sent me on my way. By the time I got home the engine was smoking and leaking antifreeze all over my new cement driveway, staining it. Went back to Take 5 right away, after calling them to complain about the problem. They were unable to fix it correctly but proceeded to try to repair it with tubing and hose clamps. not even close to the proper repair. Now I am getting the run around from their corporate office on fixing it properly. I’m hoping small claims court isn’t in my future. But I will file If they do not satisfy me in the next few days. The car is not drivable , it’s been nearly 2 weeks!

They changed my oil but did not put the drain plug tight which fell off and burnt my engine. I had it towed to a dealer which informed me of the problem. I contacted the manager of Take 5 who gave me their insurance company number. After a month of giving them all the prove they declined to pay. I am now in the process of taking them to court.

Damaged my car and will not pay for it. 3 miles after the oil change the underside engine shield fell off with scraping noises. We had the car towed and repaired at our local dealership. Multiple phone calls to the store were never returned over a period of days. When I took the bill back to the Take 5 manager he refused to take responsibility for it. After a phone call to the corporate office, they apologized and paid for my repair bill. Problem resolved by upper management in a professional way

### 🚨 **Warning: Take 5 Oil Change in Liberty Township Ruined My Engine!** 🚨 Over a month ago, I took my car to **Take 5 Oil Change in Liberty Township, Ohio** for a routine oil change. Shortly after, the oil indicator light came on. Alarmed, I returned to Take 5 immediately. The technician repeated the oil change including a faulty oil filter, assuring me the issue was resolved. But within just five miles, my engine seized, leading to a costly replacement. The cost of the replacement was $ 8500 not including the rental car. Take 5 denied my claim, falsely stating I had driven 900 miles in less than an hour. My oil change was at 2:55 PM on August 3rd, 2024, and the tow truck showed 4 pm the same day - impossible to cover such a distance during that period of time. The engine failed within the hour. The Ohio Attorney General is now assisting with mediation. This experience highlights the importance of businesses standing behind their work. I am broke down, engine is gone. The mechanic said Take 5 oil change had a total of 8 quarts of oil in my Subaru. It broke down on highway. I am sleeping in my car because I am stranded, scrambling to get back home. I am so frustrated I could cry. I had the engine rebuild on this Subaru and changed the oil as regular as possible. It’s the worst. I have been calling the customer service and writing all day. Nothing yet. I am at a total loss

PSA. I used to like take 5 oil in Langley. The last oil change I got there, they also replaced my air filter. That filter was faulty, and caused check engine light, complete with codes.Vehicle went to Preston GM July 9th and I got it back July 11th. Preston determined air filter is faulty, and replaced it fixing codes and check eng. light. I contacted Take 5 and the owner Jeven Bath, from Suky Bath motors, who owns Take 5, and basically was told they will do nothing for me. Sounds like 2 businesses I would avoid as they care not for you the customer and left me with a $450.39 bill.

Avoid this company like the plague! They overtightened my oil filter on a previous visit and therefore could not remove it on a recent visit for an oil change. Manager told me that he opened a case and that they would be in touch to send me to a local mechanic to remove at no cost to me. This happened over 2 weeks ago, and no one has ever contacted me despite me calling and leaving multiple messages for store and central customer service in Charlotte over the past 2 weeks. TERRIBLE customer service to fix a problem that they caused!
