Stripped my wifes oil plug (using a Dewalt impact) and when they pulled it out knowing it was leaking and stripped ( and the manager told the tech to push out), they blew the engine. Now the representative from the "third party" (which is Take-5) is "trying to get our claim denied" put that way in the email sent to us. Our representative laughed at us and said "You aren't going to see any paperwork from us". I said you are third party so everything should be shared... she laughed at us again. The shop Take-5 towed it to, told the representative in front of us "it was 100% their fault" The Tech also overcharged us and told us he would refund us 100%. Havent seen the refund and waiting to hear back after a month it is denied since our representative is trying to make that happen. Talking to and discussing options of a class action lawsuit for the amount of issues they wont accept responsibility for and the issues they are causing. The tow truck driver said on average they remove 6 to 12 vehicles they screw up a week. That is 1 tow company at 1 store. They dont want to take responsibility and have rude people laughing at your misfortune lets do the same, more info to come.

I went there for the first time. We had bought this car from an owner and didn’t know of the actual care of the car. There was a Take 5 sticker indicating that it was time to change the oil. The manufacturer’s recommendation for this car is 10,000 miles, but I will change the oil around 6,000 miles to be safe. The workers were really good, but with one exception. Upon leaving, I noticed that the sticker showed a mileage of 3000 miles higher. Then I called to say I was disappointed with this low 3000 miles, to get me back much sooner. I feel that it is deceptive as I later called to state this with their corporate office. I was told from them, that the 3000 miles is to simply check and top off everything, not to be used as the date of changing oil. The guy there had already told me that I could come back anytime for a tip off. I thought they were very efficient and will be back, but I will change the sticker to 6000 miles. I was also asked which of 3 grades of oil that they would use, which is a way to get a more money as well. Again, a little sneaky to offer these options. I’m sure their cost for oil is very low as they buy large quantities. Buyer beware!

Customer service, tec attitude, rude and combative. Service writer was wanting to argue about the oil change I requested. Wrong air pressure in tires. Didn't clean w/shield and didn't check wipers. Said my car calls for syn oil. Manual says 5w30 oil and says it on the oil cap. I supplied the oil filter as Hyundai recommends. Wrong name and address on No 242314 invoice. Never told about drain leak till I read the paper! Never again boys.

I always like to use the take 5 in Hudson Oaks. The crew is always friendly, helpful, and efficient. Today Matthew had helped me and he was funny and made sure I got everything I needed done to be safe on my trip. They all were very good. I will keep returning everything.

The worst experience you could have with a simple oil change company. After having to pay almost $10,000 to replace the rear-end differential and housing, due to the incompetence of Take 5 employees who failed to adequately refill the lubricant fluid for the gears in the rear-end differential. The rear end of my truck locked up while driving on I-275, 15 minutes after leaving the Take 5 oil change in rush hour traffic. Further, after being made to wait over 2 months as Take 5's insurance company, Fleet Response out of Ohio, debated whether to cover the damages they caused to my Dodge Ram Big Horn 1500. Their insurance company continues to deny liability by requesting a fluid sample of the fluid that the Take 5 employees put into the rear end, months after repairs were completed. Requesting a fluid sample with no possible way of getting a fluid sample months after the repairs were completed is simply insane, fraudulent, and should be criminal. If it were not for my coverage with GIECO, I would not have been able to completely cover the expenses. All I can say is avoid Take 5 oil locations at all costs and its incompetent employees, save your money and sanity by going to an oil change company that has mechanics certified to work on your vehicle even if it's just a simple oil change that a monkey, I am sure, can be taught how to do correctly. Lesson learned: Never trust any Take 5 oil change companies; their insurance will deny liability for damages they might cause to your vehicle at all costs.
