Your system forced me to submit 1 star, but ZERO STARS!!!!! On 12/19/2025, I visited Take 5 on Prue Road in San Antonio, Texas, AND Take 5 on Bandera Road in Helotes, Texas trying to get them to honor their published coupon for 50% off ANY OIL CHANGE, Code # EOPOOL50TXFS which was expiring on 12/31/2025. BAIT AND SWITCH... "Oh no, that was published in error and the home office deleted that code, so we can't even run it and won't give you any like-kind discount! OH, but you can buy an oil change for $120 ish!!!!!!!" REALLY?????? Of course, they keyed me into their system as if I stayed, but I left with NO SERVICE and I WILL tell everyone I know about this deceptive advertising and low-life company!!!! Sickening and sad. They had no apologies, no remorse, not one shred of worry that a repeat customer for years will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND WILL ASK OTHERS TO DO THE SAME AND BOYCOTT THIS MISERABLE COMPANY. Blows my mind that they even bother putting in summer washer fluid, knowing we live in CANADA ?¿ I never felt the need to express the importance of putting in a winter tolerable fluid. -40 perhaps would do? Nothing like not being able to see in the prime of winter 🙃👍🏼 great job and thank you for the extra $$ out of pocket and work spent on the car! I went in to have my oil changed at the take 5 Oil Change Pl. in Russellville, Arkansas. I asked for the cheapest oil possible. I pointed to the sign that they had when I pulled up. They did not give me the cheapest oil possible they gave me synthetic oil and when I told him it was wrong, he said that I had to have synthetic oil Because my vehicle required it, which is a lie because I’ve always used regular oil. I thought I was going to be charged $49.99 for a regular oil change but I was charged $82.99 which I didn’t really have. He didn’t offer to make things right they were training a new technician and the technician didn’t even tell me about any of this. I asked if they would fill my tires and then I had to ask them again at the end because they didn’t it took me 40 minutes just to get my oil changed and it was wrong. I tried to call customer service and got put on hold for a really long time so I just gave up Piss poor customer service and I won’t be back! The bad part about it is he said that the sign was wrong and they didn’t even offer regular oil anymore and I said well why wasn’t I told that and why is the sign still up and he didn’t say anything. Grrrr

Never went here before, tried to go today, I was not waited on, and left. Luckily, I still had time on my lunch hour to go to Valvoline. I was out in 9 min and got back to work on time. They should call this place "TAKE AN HOUR" oil chang I'll never go back again they had 3 cars in 3 bays but only one guy changing oil Santabarbara, Cape Coral

First of all, had already talked to the shop manager who said they can’t do anything, and had already contacted headquarters which said district manager would call us back but has been more than a week that no one called back — I have always taken my cars to Valvoline up in NJ, visiting Texas and thought Take 5 was another version (maybe improved) of drive-thru oil change. But boy was I mistaken. Oil change was fine (I’m not so sure anymore), then was recommended a coolant exchange, they showed me a test that showed my coolant wasn’t in good shape. They took almost 5 hours (maybe that’s where “Take 5” comes from) and were never able to complete the work, told me I had a blown head gasket and sent me to the closest mechanic with leaking coolant all over. Long story short, there was never any issue, a mechanic checked and found nothing wrong. Brought them the paper work to prove that there was nothing wrong with the truck and asked for a refund, only to be told that they can’t do anything as that’s not their problem. I’m taking this matter to court and hopefully this review will keep more people away from this shop in Wills Point, TX

So impressed with this team, can't say enough good about them. The way they were so organized, speedy, polite, and could answer anything I asked. I visited the Avon IN East store and had a great experience! Plenty of techs, very friendly and helpful, very speedy and did not try to upsell me while pointing out a couple minor recommendations. My visit to this location was quite pleasant!
