great customer service and communication which is hard to find these days. My sunglasses came back intact with brand new lenses which is hard to find for that specific model..Thanks again Juan and the whole team at Tajima Direct.

I was told by my Maui Jim retailer that my broken lenses could not be replaced based on the age (10yr) of my frames (designed obsolescence anyone?). That was just their way to push me to buy more overpriced frames. Tajima Direct saved me from them. Better lenses with ALL the features for less than just the basic lens cost component from MJ. They confirmed they could remake my lenses and gave me the piece of mind they weren't just lying to me. Turn-around time was shorter than I expected and the results are fantastic. They handled the shipping both directions and kept me informed of the progress.

WARNING: Do not trust Tajima Direct with your personal frames. I sent them a pristine $600 TAG Heuer frame for lenses. Their lab wasn't confident but forced it anyway, completely snapping the solid structural frame chassis in half. They then tried to hide behind a liability waiver to avoid paying for the property they destroyed. I have filed official fraud and property damage complaints with the California State Attorney General and the BBB. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want your expensive glasses ruined.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. This order involved a discontinued customer-supplied frame that arrived with a cracked original lens. Before any work began, we told the customer in writing that the original lenses could not be removed without breaking them, and that a secure fit could not be guaranteed, and that we would cancel the order, refund it in full and return the frame untouched if he preferred. He asked us in writing to proceed despite the risks presented. The new lenses were fitted, the frame was inspected before shipping, and it shipped intact. When he reported several days after delivery that a temple had come apart at the hinge, we offered a free inspection and repair if we could, or to make new lenses for another frame, and ultimately at his request, we refunded the full amount he originally paid for the new lenses. We take great care with every frame that comes through our lab and contact customers promptly if we have any concern about a frame or if anything happens to it while it is with us. This was my third purchase from Tajima. I have been extremely happy with the prescription lenses Tajima put in my Maui Jim sunglasses. I appreciated the updates and the prompt delivery. I will definitely use Tajima in the future!

Just received my frames and newly installed lenses . Wonderful installation and great customer service. Tajima Direct kept me updated on all of their procedures. My extremely expensive MYKITA + Maison Martin Margiela sunglasses. Were useless. Sitting in my desk drawer. Now with their miraculous makeover. I have a brand new pair to wear again.
