Candidly, I had never heard of Tajima until I saw one of there ads. I had just come back from the yearly eye Dr. appointment and realized that my once 20-10 vision was not what it was, I had some very expensive sunglasses and wanted to reuse the frames and Tajima seemed like they were worth a try. I am beyond pleased with the process of ordering, sending and receiving as well as the high optical quality of the Tajima lenses. I'll be sending in another pair soon so I always have a back up set.

My glasses arrived in a timely manner. The quality of the lenses were great and I can see much clearer. And what I really loved was that they were able to put in new non-prescription lenses into my Maui Jim frames for a decent price. I would highly recommend.

I just had a chance to use my new green/brown lenses in the Smokey Mountain Nation park. The streams are gin clear and the glare is unbelievable….The new lenses eliminated the glare and the clarity is amazing…i was replacing another after market lens company and glad I did…

Tajima Lenses in my Maui Jim MJ439 Frames Review -Job well done! Super impressed and appreciative. I have scratched the exterior of these frames since day 1 and it hasn’t drastically affected any vision. More importantly, I fell leaving a river with the sunglasses hanging around my neck chest level. I smashed into the river bank hard and crushed my glasses, bent the left side of the frame 90 degrees and the lens popped out. I panicked! Did I just crush and destroy my new expensive purchase?! Am I going to be blind until I get my regular glasses from the car? Nope! I was able to bend the frames back into shape and re-install the lens. The lenses are so strong, No major damage occurred and the lenses are what returned and are keeping the frames in proper shape and strength, firmly holding the lenses in place. I literally crushed a new pair of frames with aftermarket lenses with the weight of my body against a river bank and the lenses not only persevered but they also saved frames that would’ve been tossed in the trash most likely. I don’t know the materials your lenses are made from, or the tech who cut them(Juan?), but please pass on my sincere gratitude and thanks! I went with the Brown 15 Green Mirror for fishing rivers. They're great but a little dark, so it must be a really sunny day to have the polarized lenses and water vision capability work well.
