I was expecting much more out of this book bag. I have had it for a very short period of time (maybe 2 weeks of use) and multiple things have already broke. First one of the zippers is already out of the track. I could see this happening from over packing, but this was not the case. Second, the adjustable sternum strap broke off one side during my first hike with it. I was only carrying an extra pair of socks, a shirt, and 2 water bottles. Also one of the rubber custom loop pulls broke off the zipper the first day I used it. I needed a new backpack after my last one which I had for almost 10 years started to show some wear. Certainly not the quality I was hoping for.

I've purchased from SwissOutpost.com on several occasions. Usually, I receive my purchases in an envelope, and more than once, knife boxes arrive a little crushed. My most recent purchase was for two of the Victorinox Swiss Army Limited Edition Spartans, which come in a very nice presentation box. Both boxes were crunched at one end. I guess SwissOutpost.com just doesn't care how the knife boxes arrive. I understand the matter of shipping costs, but shipping stuff in an envelope really leaves knife boxes vulnerable to getting smashed. For some collectors, boxes being in good shape are a must. I emailed them about this issue on 9/18, and no one replied, so that's a second strike against them on the same purchase. If all you care about is getting a good knife, SwissOutpost.com is fine, if they've got it at a good price. But, if you're wanting the overall packaging to arrive in decent shape, it might be more worthwhile to buy elsewhere. I will, from now on.

No problems with placing my order, was through a groupon so all was quick and easy. The next day I received a message telling me that my payment wasn't processed. Turns out that there was an error with their system that was charging the normal shipping rates when I checked out and not the tripled shipping rates that were indicated on the groupon. I had no problem paying the extra amount, but the deceitful tactic of how they went about asking for the larger sum was not appreciated.

I love the brand and hence bought the backpack but then realized that the pic online was deceiving. Since return shipping costed high its now lying in a room corner
