Swiglife made an unethical and harmful post about OCD, OCD specialists have tried their best to inform them and make them aware of tha issue and kindly told them to take down the post, by making Swiglife aware of the harmful content in an informative way, but they've decided to block everybody who has commented on their post trying to inform them about their harmful material, they've blocked nearly or every single individual who has tried to make them take this down. I am very disapointed with a company treating their customers this way.

This is not a socially responsible company. They trivialize mental health issues and refuse to take accountability for their offensive and insensitive marketing strategies.

‘Swiglife’ recently posted on Instagram a post which read “OCD - obsessive cup disorder.” Unfortunately, when called out on their mistake, instead of taking on the comments and admitting they made a mistake, they deleted the comments of everyone who tried to inform them. Furthermore, they proceeded to block all accounts trying to combat the error. For those who are not aware, OCD stands for obsessive compulsive disorder and is a highly disabling and distressing anxiety disorder. OCD nearly claimed my life (and the lives of many others) and ought not to be made out to be a joke. It’s this kind of misinformation that makes it so hard to find appropriate help and allows us to deteriorate until we are in critical condition. Do better.

Absolutely shameless company using a mental health condition to advertise their products. Any concerned comments are being removed by whoever is running their social media accounts.

Pushing your sales by making fun of millions of people suffering from a terrible chronic disorder? Really?? I can't believe such awful behaviour still exists in 2023. Comments from the community got deleted and the people blocked. The company won't take responsibility and only cares about their sales and image. I am disgusted.

Hello recently, your company made a post saying I have OCD- Obsessive Cup Disorder. Well I have obsessive compulsive disorder which is debilitating to say the least. If you could please consider taking this post down and look into why trivializing this disorder is invalidating And problematic. You wouldn’t use acronyms of other serious diseases or disorders as a marketing grab (I.e. HIV, AIDS, PTSD..) if you would like to learn more please check out the IOCDF website. Swig Life recently shared an incredibly insensitive piece of marketing on their Instagram page calling OCD, "Obsessive Cup Disorder." Rather than accepting responsibility and apologizing when I, and countless others, called out this issue, Swig Life deleted our comments and blocked our accounts. OCD is a debilitating, clinically diagnosed mental health disorder that has controlled my life and nearly ruined it on MANY occasions. It's not a punchline.

This company uploaded a post to IG calling 'OCD' "Obsessive Cup Disorder". Many IG users, including myself, commented on the post trying to explain how using OCD as a joke is harmful to those who have it. Instead of listening and taking our concerns seriously, they continuously deleted EVERY comment about OCD. Then they went one step further and BLOCKED my OCD advocate account and the other accounts. They even took the time to find my personal account and block that one as well. OCD has controlled my life and almost destroyed it. Living with OCD can feel like torture. There is nothing funny about it. Using it as a joke is extremely hurtful. This is absolutely unacceptable and I am disgusted by their actions. Do not support this brand.
