I ordered a used engine with 38.000 miles from SWEngines for my 2007 Hyundai sonata, so far im happy and it hasn't given me any problems however it took too long for me to receive the engine, it took almost a month for them to ship it. other than that I'am satisfied with my purchase and I hope this engine last me for a long time!

Learn from my $2,000 mistake and take your business elsewhere.
The engine was supposed to have only 59,740 miles on it, as documented in SWE's confirmation email, and to have been pressure-tested. The engine arrived with a sticker stating "176 K." The $2000 engine also had a broken pulley, a dented oil pan, a couple of broken bolts, and anti-freeze that had been in the engine for so long that it solidified.
When I contacted SWE (calls are allegedly recorded), I was told that bolt on items are not covered (not a problem there), but that if I wanted to send the engine back, I would have to pay a 25% re-stocking fee as well as the shipping charge. In essence, SWE can send this same piece of junk to ten different customers, and if all ten have the time to play SWE's game, SWE would end up with thousands of dollars.
Judging by my own experience, I can only assume that this is how SWE conducts its business regularly.
Customer service was anything but "service." The representative was uninterested in listening, and lacked any skills expected of someone in such a position.
I say to any reader who thinks that this was an isolated incident, "Would you be willing to bet $2000, or more, on that likelihood?"

wonderful experience so far...everything went smoothly!
My experience with swengines so far is a great one. I was looking for a good cheaper motor for my wifes 2002 jeep and i found just what i needed here. So far so good! I would definitely buy from again and highly recommend them to anyone.

2.5 liter Subaru with 3year 36k mile warranty, The Engine was as advertised, no issues!
When I first found the engine I thought hey this is exactly what I need. I went through the process of buying the engine paid for it. Then I thought to my self I have never heard of SWEngines and googled them. I found a lot of negative things being said. I called them to discuss this issue and the manager assured me that there would be no problems and if there were I could just reverse the charges on my credit card, I thought ok I will take a chance. I took delivery of the engine two weeks later had a service technician look it over and he said it looked to be in good condition. I then had him install the engine and it has run fine without any issues sense. I feel that I received a good deal from SWE and have no regrets from the purchase, Thanks very much SWEngines!

So far so good after 3 weeks.
My trusted mechanic, who was initially skeptical, said everything on the '97 Fl50 SWE Engine with ~64Kmiles on it checked, including compression of ~140 psi in all 8 cylinders. Everything sounds tight, no valve chatter, and the engine makes my 126K mile truck drive like when it was newer. I hope I'm as pleased in 3 years when the SWE warranty on the engine expires

I will never buy a Engine from you company!
I received a bad engine which make knocking noise. I informed the company about the problem. I was told by Warranty manager my engine is covered under warranty for 36k miles or 3 years after 501 miles includes labor and parts. This is also stated on there website. When My Mechanic called and ask them about the warranty and informed them I have over 1000 miles they told him warranty will cover engine only not labor. It took SW engines to shipped the engine almost two weeks and they informed me engine was being tested before shipment. When my mechanic received the engine the main head gasket was missing. He has to install the gasket in order to engine run properly. I tried to call and talk to sales people about my issue without any luck. They have many negative reviews on Google regarding bad engines shipped to customers. One person will tell you labor and engine is covered under 36k or 3 years warranty and other person will tell you opposite.

Dont' Make a MIstake, when Ordering. and Engine- It wil cost you.
I was disappointed that SWEngines didn't check the Vin Number to make sure I had ordered the correct Engine. I admit I had made a mistake, as to which Engine I needed. Primarily because I have Two 2004 Ford F150 Trucks. due to the fact iI had purchased one Truck earlier than the Other, I assumed the Earlier Purchase was the older Truck. After finding the Wrong Engine had been shipped to me. SWEngines then contacted Ford, with the Vin Number, to verify which Engine I actually needed. This mIstake cost me $490.00 in extra Shipping Charges. IN the Future, I believe SWEngines should always check the VIn #, to make sure the Customer gets the correct Engine they need. Would I purchase another Engine from SWEngines. - the answer is a definite Yes:

Hello Albert,
Thank you for your feedback and advice to others. We wanted to mention there is a form field when placing an order which allows you to enter you VIN# when ordering. When a customer enters this information we can often correct the engine if ordered incorrectly by the customer or we will contact the customer if we are unable to match the VIN# with the engine ordered. Due to the high volume of orders we receive, we simply cannot check every order to verify the VIN# as you advised and keep our cost to the consumer down. Once again, thank you for the feedback and we are really happy to hear you are back on the road which is always our main goal!
Thank you for your business!
