It's a straightforward and easy process. I switched over from WooCommerce to SureCart, and I'm so happy that I did. The only issue I came across was that when I connected to my Stripe account, the article process didn't match my journey. I had to fill in all my business data, although I already had it input for my Stripe WP. I didn't have the option to input test data. I was still able to connect and put it in test mode, but was forced to do all the verifications again of my business, my ID, etc. I'm not sure if that has to do with Stripe or Surecart, so I just input my info, and everything seems to work just fine. I also have one minor technical issue and will reach out to Surecart if I don't manage to fix it myself. So not sure how CS is, but the platform process and everything is super easy to understand and integrate. It's very light and feels really good. I'm very happy with my experience so far. It took me a few hours to set up.

Hi, thank you so much for taking the time to write this up, and welcome over from WooCommerce! I'm really glad the setup felt light and easy. Let me clear up the Stripe part, because you shouldn't have had to redo all of that. Test mode is available, and it doesn't require any business verification at all. Here's the exact path: 1. In WordPress, go to SureCart > Settings > Payment Processors. 2. Click the Stripe toggle to open the SureCart platform, then open the Stripe tab. 3. Open the Connect dropdown and choose Test Mode (not Live Mode). 4. Stripe will show its onboarding form here - you can safely skip it. There's a "skip this form" option, so no business data, no ID, nothing to verify. 5. Refresh your WordPress page and you'll see the Stripe test processor marked as connected. Full walkthrough with screenshots: https://surecart.com/docs/connect-stripe/ What most likely happened on your side: SureCart connects through Stripe Connect, and when Stripe's screen loads it will either let you sign in to an existing account or start a brand new one. If Live Mode was selected and a new account got created during that redirect instead of signing in to the account you already use with your Stripe WP setup, Stripe treats it as a fresh business and asks for the full verification again. That verification requirement is Stripe's, not ours, and it only applies to live accounts. One more step people often miss: connecting in test mode is only half of it. You also need to switch the checkout form itself into test mode, otherwise it keeps running live. Go to SureCart > Custom Forms, open your checkout form, enable test mode there, and click Update. You can also flip it on and off from the admin bar on the checkout page while logged in as admin. Details here: https://surecart.com/docs/how-to-make-test-payments/ And when you're done testing, you can wipe all the test orders in one go before going live: https://surecart.com/docs/clear-test-data/ Please do reach out about that other technical issue instead of wrestling with it alone - we're happy to take a look and you'll get a real answer from a real person. Best regards,
