Lack of transparency
When I joined Superpower Health in June 2026, a core feature of its platform was the uncapped, continuous access to its AI health messaging concierge. In September, Superpower unilaterally changed the service by capping new and existing members' usage at 100 messages per month. If you go over that monthly cap, you have to buy message credits. The company quietly rolled out the changes and never informed members by email of the change. I found out when a message popped up on my screen stating I had 12 message credits left for the month. When pushed for a refund, the merchant explicitly admitted in writing: "While SuperpowerAI was previously available without a usage limit, unlimited AI usage was not a stated or guaranteed inclusion of the membership." Superpower is attempting to use a contract loophole to claim that because "unlimited" wasn't explicitly guaranteed in the fine print, they have the right to strip the feature away mid-subscription. However, by their own written admission, unlimited access was the operational service I paid for in June. The merchant cannot collect a non-refundable annual fee for a premium service and then downgrade the core digital features a few months later because its operational costs changed. This is a terrible way to treat paying customers. When it comes to health data, people expect a partnership built on absolute transparency, not hidden friction. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Superpower Health to anyone.
