Ive used this over last year, it was pretty good, songs were created as you wanted, lyrics matched up, beats were good. I then stopped using it. Then they bought out this v6 one. I used the free v6 mini and thought it was pretty good. So signed up so i could use the V6 pro model. Was expecting it to be miles better...
But wait wth? The v6 model spewed out songs which were nothing like what I wanted. Really bad prompt following compared to Pro. The one song that v6 mini generated was actually better than all 8 that the pro model generated. I asked for a trap / rap song and it generates soul and Rnb, there is a BIG difference.
The Pro Editor is terrible. I have used DAWS in the past, compared to that this is really bad UI and hard to use. Yes its not a DAW but even simple things seem hard to achieve. I create a new section, add the new lyrics, set the length (but bear in mind this length should be automatically calculated by default, cos most of ppl wouldn't know how long those lyrics would take to sing.) then press create, the new created section also has like 2 lines of the lyrics i gave it, what happened to the rest. Really disliked the editor.

What was once brilliant...
What was once brilliant with a sparkling community, has become a slop engine that only produces pop-slop. Support staff have been replaced by dismissive AI.
Also standing with long-time users who are being banned from their accounts for reporting bugs or raising concerns about the quality of the V6 model.
Dissapointed, sincerely, to watch Suno essentially speedrun its own destruction.

Two months ago I would have given it a 4.5 but in the last month the site seems to be basically nonresponsive to prompts rendering music that sounds like Enya singing everything.

Studio Mode = Garbage
I recently came across an old CD of original songs I'd recorded with an MBox2 circa 2005. I had *zero* music production experience and it showed, but some of the arrangements, lyrics and hooks weren't half bad. I decided to give Suno a try to see if I could get it to churn out some decently mixed demos that remained true to the original arrangements and vocals.
Seeing as I wasn't looking to recreate wholly new songs – just enhance existing ones – I went in for the Pro subscription for access to the "Studio" and "Remaster" features. Big mistake.
The studio mode was utter shit. Ask it to "Create a drum track for this original." You'll get back a completely unsynced monstrosity. Ask it to "Stem out the vocal, percussion, and rhythm guitar". Parts of the song are stemmed nicely. Others flip which part is in which track or leave them mixed. Ask it to "Create a NEW bass track." It stacks it over your rhythm guitar. Etc. Etc. Etc.
In fact, here was my initial review of the product having only tried Studio Mode:
> Utter shit. Completely confusing. Fails to follow directions. The studio is trash, trash, trash. DO NOT BUY. So sorry I wasted my money here.
But there is a bit of good news...
Eventually, I managed to find my way back OUT of studio mode to the standard 'Create' interface and noticed the 'Remix' button. While I still end up spending an inordinate amount of time fiddling with sliders and more often than not end up filling its "style" area with expletive laden rants when it won't follow basic instructions, I have been able to generate 4 more or less passable demos, one of which actually still sounds like me on the vocal. Hence, the bump up to *2* stars.
That's as far as she goes, however.
If you're trying to get it's v5.5 model to generate anything remotely "rock" related, be prepared to drown in a prima donna lead guitarist gizz fest, because that's what you're going to get. I finally figured out that telling it my original was "rockabilly" would keep it from going Randy-Rhodes-on-meth all over my songs, at least for the most part.
Also be prepared for it to fail to grasp _basic_ key changes, no matter how you play with the sliders it provides in the "Advanced" pane of the Remix tab, no matter how clearly you state 'the verses alternate full measure Gm7 and C6, but the chorus is a bright, airy 1-4-5-4 in A#'. I have attempted to get it to follow that key change – a key change that *CLEARLY* exists in the original track – about 100 times at this point. I've gotten it to output something that _almost_ preserved it *ONCE* and only by ramping the 'follow the audio' slider to max which basically defeated the purpose of the entire exercise as it also preserved all of the rough edges of the original recording.
Long (very long) story short, if you're doing anything other than "write me a song", prepare to be *DEEPLY* pissed off before getting the results you're looking for. Nonetheless, I do give it props for helping me get at least a few workable demo tracks. I have to admit that I will probably continue arguing with it for a good while yet.

I find myself not really using it
I find myself not really using it. I tried some songs and the prompt must be extremely stupid on purpose to make you waste credit just fixing something simple in one song. I don't use it enough to pay for it and i'm surprised so many actually pay for it, seem to me more like a meme maker. They make it sound like this will replace your spotify and you can just generate what you feel like in the moment. Like all ai services it's a million emails trying to get you back once you sign up. Wake me when it actually does what the hype says.

Fun to play around but not a serious site
It's fun to play around with music, but the audio quality is very, very poor. The music sounds the same, same melodies and same vocals, no matter what you prompt. You have to waste tons of credits to edit and master tracks, without any point, since when you extract stems, the audio quality degrades again. You are left with stems that cannot be used for something useful. Support doesn't answer emails. They constantly release new functionality, but don't test the functions before release. Most of the functionality cannot be used.
So use it for fun, in the application, but do not expect to create any good audio with it.

Suno keep saying my card was declined
Suno keep saying my card was declined, I checked my bank account yet my bank is showing funds available and is not showing any declined transaction. They said the problem is with Suno. They have billed my same card for months. Never had a major problem until now. Just tried a different card yet same problem. They are having serious technical problems. Reported it to Support. Still waiting for a reply.

This is a fantastic tool to help create…
This is a fantastic tool to help create audio, if you know how to use the prompts and tools correctly, it does work and produces some very cool stuff, the final output is great (most of the time) and Suno are releasing newer versions with different and better functions quite often, however 1 issue with the actually functionality is that the sound on the final track is a bit funny, with what I can only describe as a windy high pitch noise faintly in the background but maybe that's just my ear? Now, my experience with the customer service/support is completely the opposite, if you need human support then forget about it, it's been over a month now since I contacted support and being a premier member i expected a reply by now, I did get an auto generated response after my first email to them, but I have followed up 3 times now and there's been nil reply, very disappointed, I this week cancelled my subscription as I cant access my account, and tried to set a new account up which then errors out due to a conflict with the previous and asks me to contact support, that's my experience with suno.. thanks
