ONLY FOR PROS
3 days after I wrote the below review, I have to change it. Sucuri has refunded the money. I have to admit this has been a surprise. So, Sucuri is probably a very good service, but my advise would be: do not perform a site check until you know the service is usefull for you. Original Review.: I bought it yesterday. It was super difficult to understand what was going on. I'm not an expert but I'm not either an amateur, and honestly, I felt like an i.... Too complicated, too many unexplained things being asked... But the best part comes now. I tried to cancel my subscription and... surprise: I had no right for a refund since I had already performed a site check and apparently some malware removal took place. Well, first of all, it's very hidden in all the legal documents that you loose your right for a refund if you have malware removed (I kind of understand it anyway).. but that's the very first thing they suggest you to do (a site check), so they know no one is elegible for a refund bc they always start by a site check (and there's always some kind of removal as you´ll see below) Secondly, what they removed from my site was only scam comments, nothing serious or complicated. My 178 € have been stolen as the 30 day money back guarantee has a trick. I have contacted VISA and I'll see what's the result of this. BTW, I bought Wordfence Premium right after I cancel Sucuri, and it was smooth, easy, understandable... and cheaper!

Hi Pedro, We regret the confusion. Nobody should feel taken advantage of. Please understand the difference between malware scanning and malware removal. When you scan your site, our scanner lets you know if there are signs of a hack. When you submit a malware removal request, there’s an agreement to pay for services rendered — it’s not an automated process. You noted feeling bad about the confusion. Please don’t. We understand you are working hard to succeed online. We wish you all the best, even if we aren’t the right fit for your needs. You can always reach us at [email protected]. Hope this clears things up a bit.
