I ordered their silver "Onion Ring" ring, thinking it was funny and cute, when it eventually arrived, the quality was terrible, the word was just printed onto the metal rather than engraved, so it would have washed or rubbed off easily. However, before eventually receiving my order, I had to chase it up several times over many weeks because they used Evri, and they SUCK as a courier. After a month, they told me that they lost my order. SC were reluctant to send a replacement, demanding that I send one back if both showed up. I ended up sending both back in their original packaging, I got a £14 refund for a £20 item with added postage. Never again.

Nice jewellery, poor customer service
I ordered the New Folder ring in size 10 which, according to the size guide, should have an internal diameter of 19.7mm, mine was 20.1mm (I specifically referred to the mm measurement to avoid any UK/US size translation issues). I reached out to the support team to explain that I’d been sent the wrong size, and they offered to exchange for a new size. I was happy to exchange for a size 7 since the 10s were sold out, and wear it on a different finger.
However the returns portal wouldn’t let me select the exchange. By the time I’d had more back and forth with the support team explaining this, the size 7 had sold out.
I was then offered instead to simply return and that Studiocult would bear the cost of the return shipping. They offered to match the sale price when I wanted to repurchase. A bit of a hassle so far, but I appreciated the offer.
I sent the ring back and they reimbursed the £10.95 postage straight away. After a week (and having to chase them for it) they sent me a partial refund of £79.20 (the ring cost £88.00), so I was £8.80 short. I queried this and was told it probably because it was just to cover the cost of the ring and not the shipping costs. I sent a screenshot of our conversation where they offered to cover the shipping, and they issued me £7.00 extra. So still £1.80 short and not sure why.
It’s taken 3.5 weeks to get this far, I’ve messaged again for them to correct the refund. I had so many items on my wish list but I don’t think I will order again due to the hassle and the risk I’ll get another wrong size sent.
The customer service reps seem nice and pleasant, but you have to persevere to get anything sorted.

Scam site don't buy from them lucky if you even get anything that you really ordered also they reply to reddit reviews and fake responses
I'm not 100% percent sure if the response is true but if this true please be careful and make sure where you buy from is legit and not get scammed like I did.

Hi Jenna,
I tried to find an order or support ticket from you in our system, but I was unable to locate anything. You mentioned us replying to reddit reviews, which we are not active on that platform at this time. This leads me to believe that you are talking about another business.
We've had an issue recently with a shop stealing our likeness and scamming customers. This is a very serious matter and we are working diligently to correct it and have their site taken down. I'm very sorry if you've been effected by this. If there's any more information you can provide us with, please shoot us an email at [email protected].
Thank you for your time.

Received the wrong order
Received the wrong order. Got an earring instead of a necklace I ordered. Difficult to reach support
Response from STUDIOCULTFeb 17, 2026
Hi Jack! We're very sorry you received the wrong item. We responded back to you Today at 1:16 PM EST (our hours are Monday-Friday 10 AM - 6 PM EST, so we appreciate your patience as we got back online this week).
We'll continue to monitor the original order that is still in transit, but I'll go ahead and send you a replacement and a followup reply. Please feel free to keep the incorrect earring we sent you as well as an apology for the trouble! :-)
I was genuinely excited to support this brand, but this has turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time.
After placing my order on 17 November, I immediately contacted Studiocult to correct an address autofill error. I received an automated response from a bot, and when their support team finally did reply, the tone was condescending, dismissive, and completely unhelpful.
To make matters worse, the courier (Evri) confirmed in writing that they delivered the parcel to the wrong address, admitted they ignored the correction request, and confirmed the package was left in an unsafe location. They told me there's nothing they can do and to raise it with the retailer directly. Despite this, Studiocult refused any responsibility, insisted it wasn’t “lost in transit,” and told me they would only refund if the parcel is ever magically returned to them which is extremely unlikely and unrealistic.
Plus, their “small, ever-growing business” narrative feels very misleading when you consider they clearly have the resources for:
– Multiple international warehouses (one in the US & one in China).
– Paid social media ad campaigns.
– Influencer collaborations.
– Hundreds of thousands of followers across social media.
– Contracts with major couriers like Evri.
Small business...? 🤔
It's very hard to accept the “we’re just a small team” excuse when they evidently operate at scale, and refunding a first-time customer is a standard practice (even for real small businesses).
What’s worse:
– They ignored multiple escalation emails
– They ignored a formal request for resolution
– And even when I reached out to the founder & designer on social media (privately and publicly), I received absolutely no response.
Their support team also recently started responding to Trustpilot reviews (some had years without a response) only after I pointed out their low score and poor reviews, revealing they care more about managing appearances than actually supporting customers. Just look at the dates on this page.
Also, their private responses directly contradict what they publicly post on Trustpilot, where they claim customers need not worry about lost parcels and that refunds are always possible. In reality, their replies to me were misleading, condescending, and refused to offer an actual resolution.
Any public reply here claiming refunds are ‘available’ is misleading. I have private emails showing they refused to issue a refund despite the parcel being lost, and multiple attempts to resolve this privately were ignored.
I never received my order. The courier admitted fault. Studiocult refused to refund or resend. I’ve now had to raise a chargeback through my bank to recover my money.
A real shame, because the products themselves can be cool and edgy, but the service behind them is incredibly poor, unprofessional, and absolutely not what I was expecting.
EDIT (03/12): After being ignored for days, having multiple escalation emails brushed aside, and even having my public Instagram comments quietly deleted, Studiocult only refunded me after I escalated the situation publicly on their socials.
The founder never responded, customer support contradicted their own Trustpilot claims, and the COO framed the refund as a “one-time exception,” even though the package was misdelivered and never recovered.
Future customers should be aware:
1) They ignored several direct and private attempts to resolve the issue professionally, legally, and ethically.
2) Deleted my public comments on Instagram rather than addressing the issue promptly.
3) Their “small team” narrative doesn't match their paid ads, influencer collabs, large social presence, etc.
Support responses were condescending, inconsistent, and not aligned with their public claims of “customer-first” policies.
After fighting tooth and nail (as someone else said in their review), I did eventually get my money back, but only after unnecessary stress, escalation, and persistence.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Would not respond to item never being received. Said they sent replacement, but nothing ever came. They would not respond.
Response from STUDIOCULTNov 20, 2025
Hi C, thank you for your feedback. I wanted to address some of the comments you’ve made based on your experience with us. We have record of a customer support ticket you opened on July 20th, 2025. In this communication, you explained that you paid for expedited shipping and that your package was delayed, so we promptly refunded your shipping due to the carrier delay. Days later, we reached a consensus with you that the original package may have been lost in transit, at which point we went right ahead and re-shipped your package (7/22/25).
A few days afterwards, we noticed that tracking did not populate for your second package because it had been re-processed manually, an issue that we addressed with our warehouse immediately upon discovering. We explained the context of this delay to you, letting you know that your package was affected by a warehouse issue and would be on its way ASAP. I understand/would imagine that this felt like a series of inconveniences in your package’s journey, which is never ideal. We’re just as disappointed when a customer has an issue with their order, much less a few issues.
We’re very sorry for the multiple inconveniences that occurred during this time. Unfortunately, once you opened a chargeback with us and stopped communicating in the ticket, we had no ability to rectify the situation further as Shopify froze the amount that we would be able to refund. This, plus the fact that we had no more open line of communication with you, left us with no choice but to close the ticket out on 7/30/25. We hope you have a better shopping experience next time, whether it’s with us or someone else. Thank you for your time.

refund
They didn’t allow me to exchange or have a refund of four earrings even though it was only a week after receiving them and they were unused and unopened. Super disappointed and never buying from this brand again.
Response from STUDIOCULTNov 20, 2025
Hi Aleni, I apologize for the experience you’ve had with us and our customer support. I tried to pull up your order and ticket, but unfortunately couldn’t find this exchange in our system. I wanted to clarify that we do have a policy in place stating that we cannot take exchanges on earrings due to hygienic and safety reasons. This is on our website under each listing. We unfortunately cannot make any exceptions to this policy, as we cannot safely resell earrings that have been unsealed. In this review, you did state that they were unopened - if you’d be so kind to email us with your order number at [email protected], I’d love to pull up your order/ticket and give it a second review myself to make sure we didn’t miss anything here! Apologies again for the inconvenience and hope to hear from you soon.

Never received item
I never received my item and was told I should have bought insurance - but that wasn’t presented to me as an option! I never have issues with delivery of packages, so I’m skeptical. Customer service of course blamed me and gave me advice for when I shop in the future.
Response from STUDIOCULTNov 20, 2025
Hi there. We’re sorry for the delay in this response, but wanted to make sure we addressed your review, as some things have since changed with our business policies. First off, I’m very sorry if our shipping insurance at the time was not presented to you as an option to protect your order. Unfortunately, once a package leaves our warehouse, it's journey is in the hands of the carrier, which means we can’t control delays or shipping issues. Previously, those costs for lost packages were recoupable with our shipping protection. Since then, we have changed our policy. If a package is lost in transit or stolen once delivered, we have a firm commitment to replace those orders, as it should not fall on the customer. We will always try and assess the situation thoroughly before we ship out a new package, as sometimes there are false notifications or delays, but if there is no movement within 1-2 weeks of your package being in transit, we take those measures to replace the package. I’m sorry you were not met with a better solution and left to be disappointed. If you ever need anything, we’d be happy to assist you more appropriately next time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support at [email protected].
