They straight up lied offering personal loans then to only offering credit counseling and settlements. I asked nicely many times to be removed from there calling list and remove me from there system. I have now gitten 27 calls and the last one argued with me and tried to educate me on credit. Insinuating that i am credit stupid and need to hear him out. I asked repeatedly to be removed told him i wasnt interested but he just kept on telling me how wrong i am. I am going to speak with my attorney tomorrow to see if i can do anything. Stay away nothing but scammers!!

They are half truth, but mostly lies, very deceiving. They want you to sign very quickly, will not let you review the documentation, talk very very fast and apply pressure. There's no such thing as free money. They want to get your payments routed to their accounts while they "negotiate" i.e. just let the situation get so bad the credit card company is willing to compromise. I wasn't even in position where I needed to refinance, it was optional, and they were promising 35% reduction on a balance that actually had NO interest accrued or accumulated? What? They were advising me to not pay my credit card, close my accounts, and trash my credit, and somehow they were going to make a 35% gain for me when I had no interest accrued on my 0% APR introductory offer card? They just would have made the situation worse.

I've been talking with Kara who was very professional and explained a lot about debt consolidation to me. We've had many phone calls over the last month and Ive made my mind up to consolidate my debt and be debt free in a couple years! First of, their ad is very deceiving. They said I can borrow money as a personal loan so I can pay off the high interest credit cards. After squeezing me for my personal information, a certain Brett said that no one in the US will lend me the money and just had the pleasure of insulting me and hanging up on me. All I wanted is to lower the interest I am paying. But these companies just wanna suck the last drop of your blood. STAY AWAY FROM THESE COMPANIES.

I was looking for a consolidation loan and one ended up being this debt settlement company. I see some good reviews for people signed up in the last 3 months. Ask them again in 2 years. They will have destroyed credit scores, settled maybe half of their debt, with the rest of their escrow going to the debt settlement company in fees. Meanwhile you will likely get sued by your creditors and many judges will care nothing about the "representation" from the debt settlement company and order you onto a payment plan. If you do NOT have a large chunk of cash available, these programs will crush your financial life for 10 years.

The options were laid out right in front of me from various different well known lenders and showed me in real time what they would give me for loans and the APR’s, so instead of having to apply one at a time on each one of the lenders websites or in person and have 20 hard inquiries on my account I did it once and didn’t have to go through all the hassle. However the rates were not great and I wasn’t surprised because my credit score is average. However, I was also offered another program that was a lot less for the total cost and a shorter term length. So, I figured I would asked about it and see if it was a good fit for myself. After about a 20 minute conversation I was all in and excited, this is going to allow me to save enough money I can stop stressing out for holidays when money is tight! Looking forward to being debt free in less then two years!

I originally sought them out looking for a debt consolidation loan. The man I spoke with first said he'd call me back the next day, never did. A week, week and a half later I received a random call from a New York number I've never seen. Next thing I know I'm getting a call literally every day from a different number and a different person. They also approved me for a loan without doing a credit check and can guarantee that I'll save money on my debt. The longer this goes on, the more I believe it's related to a scam. My original loan was supposed to be through a different company in the first place, but then somehow became one through Strategic Consulting. No review I write can do this shady business justice. They're now also sending messages asking what's wrong with me no longer wanting to get out of debt. Believe it or not, I can manage my own debt just fine and I was shopping for better options to my current debt. I recently refinanced my car loan, I'm not in some kind of hole that is impossible to crawl out of. Never go to a company that sweet talks you, then talks down to you when you don't bend over to everything they want you to do.
