My problem is not with the facilities, rather it’s with their billing. Storage King had purchased the storage facility I’ve had my things stored in for about 25 years. All of a sudden I was getting billed substantial penalties through notices sent to me. I called their office, and was told that my rental agreement was updated to include new penalties. I replied that I was never notified about a new agreement. They responded that they had tried everything to to contact me and let me know. I told them I was getting their penalty notices just fine, but not even an indication that my rental agreement was modified. They vehemently disagreed and claimed that they they could not contact me by any method. I hung up with them, and then quickly received a text asking me to fill out a Trustpilot review. No issue there! It’s obvious that they can contact me easily, but continue to claim they can’t. They wanted a review. Here it is. Thanks Storage King for requesting my review so quickly!

Unit was dirty with leaves and sand and dirt. Also the door gets stuck open due to a metal strip getting caught on the door latch. Opening and closing the door is not as easy as lifting it up. You have to battle the metal hitting every part of the door.

Facility is clean but poor customer service. Person at the front desk had a very nasty attitude and disposition.

Although Customer service is exceptional, the facility leaves much to be desired. The lighting is bad and a lot of the bulbs need to be replaced. You cannot access your unit after hours. I gave it two stars because the people who work there are nice.

I regret coming there

They pulled my ssn without consent or asking! Was not mentioned during conversation or process! Noticed this on provided copy of 14 page document! NOT COOL!!!!!!! I will not use again when I no longer need their service!

The website for online payment is not a secure link. I cannot in good faith pay my bill online with the knowledge of how many credit cards are stolen in this fashion. Update to 2017 internet security standards for your customers please.

Very large place that winds around IN THE DARK. Some problems have very simple solutions that don't require a PHD in anything to solve, JUST A DISIRE. This place is relative large, especially if you are new to the building. Regardless of what the day is like outside, IT IS DARK, VERY DARK INSIDE OF THIS STORAGE BUILDING, and very easy to WASTE many minutes of your day meandering around looking for your unit and your exit. If you so happen to be pushing a cart of heavy items you can't leave them aside while you look for your storage unit because then YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GO AND FIND THE CART YOU LEFT BEHIND. Simple arrows on the floor or the wall showing the direction by numbers to the units AND TO THE ELEVATORS and lights that are motion activated would go a long way to solving the most basic of problems. Nah, we'll wait until some woman gets raped or whatever in the PITCH BLACK, VERY, VERY DARK HALLWAYS and then after the lawsuit we will address the issue that could have been addressed for a couple of thousand dollars, mostly in labor costs. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE JUST HOW DARK I AM TALKING ABOUT. The kind of dark where you can not see you hand in front of your face. You look down an aisle and you can see absolutely NOTHING. The one saving grace of this place is the employees. By the way, don't ask for anything because the manager said, "IF I DO IT FOR YOU, I'LL HAVE TO DO IT FOR EVERYBODY". I guess that means she's never done anything for anyone in her entire life. "I offered to leave a deposit to take a cart out, to load some weight plates on it and bring it right back that very same afternoon". Both Yadira and the young man who works in the office are extremely helpful in every way possible.
