Only on day 7 of the program and I wish I could have heard this 25 years ago. My drinking problem consisted of "not knowing when to stop" when out having a good time. It was like a switch turned on, instant a-hole. I always believed there was a chemical imbalance and after hearing your words, it sounds like my symptoms. I stopped drinking 3 months ago when my beautiful wife had enough and moved out. That was my wake up call. Something had to change. I'm 48 and it's time for some life changes. I'm so committed to stop I even skipped my 30 year high school reunion this weekend because I knew I would drink. My biggest problem is finding positive activities to substitute the drinking.

After watching today, I realized how personal this path to being sober really is. I do want to help the people I care about who also drink but arent wanting sobriety yet, but , ....me first...me first.....so grateful to be able to even say that! ONWARD! Thru the FOG!! :o)

Before joining Craig's course I watched dozens of videos he prepared. I don't even remember how I found it, I was probably looking for some solution for my abuse. This material is a lifesaver, almost instantly the book radically changed how I see alcohol to the point where I immediately stopped and I haven’t even completed the book. Not gunna lie I get an itch every now an then, but I am surrounded by bars, clubs and women so that devil is still there. At this point from the info provided that draw to it anymore literally has disappeared.
