Absolutely terrible experience. I used them for implementing a company wide background check. I would have rather gone with ANY other provider after experiencing the issues I have had. Only 28/66 backgrounds went through without technical problems. Will be using another provider going forward.

A.K.A. Kennect by Sterling Talent Solutions - Gives false information. Used them for a nationwide background check for a contractor prior to submitting a government document. After taking forever to receive the results and submitting the form, this contractor was arrested for providing false information - based on my experience and reading the reviews below I don't believe this company actually performs the background checks. My mistake was not researching this company first.

Worst experience ever..... can't explain. Such loosers... they don't know how to talk to customers. They couldn't figure out their own system how it works. Their so called IT SUCKS!

I have been in HR for many years and have worked with many background screen companies. Sterling Talent Solutions is the most incompetent company I have ever worked with. Every time you call on delays you get different answers from different people and you get different instructions on filling out forms differently which then continues to delay the process. Try to find a manager to talk to...never available! I am taking my business elsewhere.

I submitted my information on 11/8 and I was told it would be completed on 11/13. It's 11/20 and I've made three attempts to have them expedite my case only to be told it appears that department has not followed up with Sterling Talent Solutions. They use a third party outside of their business but have no way of contacting them. I was floored. Knowing I have no criminal background issues and I'm missing out on a job opportunity to feed and provide for myself because of this companies negligence. As of 11/24 my case is still In Process waiting for action. I was told by "Stacy" that I could let Walmart know I was unhappy ( clearly meant to be sarcastic ). It's a different reason for the delay everytime I've called. In the mean time I am at this companies mercy.

Unresponsive....Ordered a background report October 4th and still don't have it 19 days later. Called and spoken with 2 supervisors, say they've escalated the problem but after 12 days, still nothing. Can't see to get anyone on the phone who can make anything happen. We were with Verified Person for 7 or 8 years before Sterling bought them. They were great!! Got things done. At Sterling all the CSRs do is put your request into the computer and you wait to see if anything happens and it DOESN'T. SHOPPING FOR A NEW COMPANY TODAY. LOSING GOOD APPLICANTS BECAUSE THEY NEED TO WORK AND STERLING CAN'T OR WON'T GET ME ANSWERS.

It’s been almost 3 weeks since I accepted the position and my background began. I’m being told that everything has been completed except for a criminal check by a local county in my area. I was told that the county has yet to respond to their request. On today, Oct 16, 2017 which was to be my original start date I contacted the Clerk of Courts to inquire about this request.... I was told they had no record of such request and if someone wanted to call them they would gladly respond to their request by providing whatever documentation they needed. Well, it seems that would make too much sense as they keep saying that they have to go through their normal means of gathering information.... so basically, if I loose the job oh well, just as long as their process isn’t interrupted.... SMFH

Have been waiting over a month for them to complete my background check. Now my start date for my job was delayed due to the background check not being back yet. Never waited more than 4 or 5 days for a background check with any other company
