Makes errors and takes no responsibility
Sterling incorrectly entered information I provided via email into their system, and then told me they could not correct their own error because it was already in the system. These kinds of mistakes could jeopardize my employment offer, and Sterling told me there was nothing they could do to fix their own mistake.

Quick and Easy

Angel gave great phone support
Your phone support was great. Website suggestions: 1) Put your contact info for tech support AND Privacy on the first screen, or every screen. 2) On the housing screen, mention the housing history is needed for ONLY the past 7 years. (Luckily Angel told me this by phone, which saved me a lot of time.) 3) In the form where you ask for our social security number, put in small letters why it is safe to enter it there. Thank you for asking. The site was very usable.

UberEats/Sterling SCAM. Avoid at all costs.
Had to use this service to verify my documents for UberEats. Got to the local Post office and "Sorry your DOB on your documents does not match what we see on the screen" Seems like sterling likes to use the american date format of month/day instead of day/month. Called Sterling "sorry there is nothing we can do, but great news! You can let us steal another £47 from you and input the incorrect date/month format into our system so it appears correct for the robots at your local post office". Currently looking for legal avenues to recailm the money they stole. Avoid at all costs.

A little slow, but still good
My background process was a little bit more drawn out than I expected. However, when I called sterling regarding my screening, they were very clear about what stage the process was currently at and what they required of me.

The people who helped me out were very helpful. When the answer to one of my questions was not known, I was immediately called back with the answer.
