Eric, we are deeply concerned and troubled by your review! Over the course of verbal or emailed conversations did you mention these issues with the newel or balusters. If you had, we would immediately worked to remedy any product concerns. We have never received a review less than 4-star! It’s not because we are that good, but because we want to ensure every customer receives excellence in both our stair products and service. We strive to ensure that all stair parts leave our manufacturing facilities in great conditions. Unfortunately, whether by delivery or unfortunate manufacturing oversight do stair parts come in less than stellar and expectant condition. We hope to connect to see how best to address these concerning comments together.
